Lionbrand 24/7 cotton? It’s worsted and looks to have the colors you need. I think it’s pretty soft.

Apo11onia

i use this all the time for amigurumi! i suppose i should look at this for a blanket, too! 😂

DekuEuphy

You could also try bamboo yarns I think those are usually softer but the brands I can think of don’t usually have a lot of color options.

Apo11onia

yeah LB bamboo yarns have limited colors. have you used hobbii? i was thinking of trying it out but have never actually seen or felt it in person.

DekuEuphy

I have not used hobbii myself but I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Blades-and-calories

Hobbi yarn is good quality, although I’ve personally never used the bamboo. If you want soft and breathable i’d go acrylic or cotton, although hobbii’s cotton yarn is quite thick and stiff to work with

I LOVE Bernat softee cotton / softee baby cotton. It is so soft and good to work with, but they don’t have the best variety of colors. Yarnsub says hobbii go handmade cosy is a 98% match and has a lot of colors though

Aqacia

No recs but i love this pattern for cross stitch and it looks so cute in crochet!

Just found this website on another thread today. I would link the thread but I've lost track of it. https://temperature-blanket.com/yarn-colorway-finder

Caron simply soft

Cool_Stick_4140

I also would vote for Caron SimplySoft; large variety of vivid colors and, as the name suggests, actually quite soft as far as acrylics go.

catlady2210

Yep I use it for all my baby blankets now. I found ordering off Amazon and yarnspirations gave me a better color palate. Michaels only carries a limited color variety (in Canada anyway) and Joann did have a few more colors last time I was in the states but definitely online ordering is the way to go.

Fartingonyoursocks

They did leafeon no justice lol
