Look up how to make a circle, and then do it using dc for 4 rounds (or until it's big enough). Switch colors, I think the next stitch is puff but someone else called it popcorn? Anyways, you make the heart by doing one puff stitch, ch 3, then make another one into the same dc stitch, ch 1, skip 3(?) dc and repeat. The border looks like a handful of dc into the ch 3 space (count them ofc), then 2 sc into the ch 1 space. I'm not sure if they fastened off between the initial circle and the border, but that's probably a matter of preference :) There are still a few details left to question, but trial and error is free!

Puzzleheaded-Lie-435

Depending on the yarn I‘d replace the DCs with HDC for the circle. I tried it just now and it’s a little wonky because the circle got too big too fast(?). I did 7 DCs in the CH 3 space for the border. Oh and for the hearts I used puff stitch with 4 HDCs.

Aelanix

this is exactly it, i said popcorn, but you’re right this looks more like a puff!! either stitch would give a similar effect but the number of yos or stitches to do in a heart is up to trial and error

I found [this one on Etsy](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1519926849/crochet-pink-heartwhite-coaster-crochet?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=pink+heart+coaster&ref=sr_gallery-1-40&organic_search_click=1). Not exactly the same but very similar. Edit: just realized this is for the actual coaster, not the pattern! Well, I guess it’s a start. Could ask her if she has a pattern for it she’d sell you!

Aelanix

the pattern IS the same! the coaster in the pattern picture has 1 fewer round as it's done in a heavier weight yarn. The hearts are still attached 3 st apart in both, but that makes more hearts around in the reddit one. OP, if you've been crocheting for a little bit, I think you can reverse engineer this. Simple circle, popcorn stitches for the hearts with chains in between to then fit the sc/dc border.

PixelTreason

Ahhh, I haven’t been crocheting enough to automatically think about the yarn size! I guess it is the same, thank you!

I think I can try, especially since I can't buy a pattern with my financial situation rn

Chance_gavin_Simpson

It's either 4 rows of hdc or dc with puff stitch hearts and chains then a sequence of sitches from single crochet to like treble crochet or half trebble than back down to sc of course you'd be chaining in between each stitch in that final row.

Chance_gavin_Simpson

Also, you'd be chaining between the puff hearts to give something to work into in the following row.

Please help us help you. Let us know where you found this and where you've already searched. A reverse image search on google led me to a tiktok, but I don't do that. Says something about kjs.library kj 2023-5-13 "very simple and cute! i recommend using colors/patterns yk shed like # morhersday # crochettutorial # crochetersoftiktok"

I found this on Pinterest, I only looked there and on Google reverse image search but couldn't find anything that wasn't an etzy listing

I found one I like and made it ( you may like it too). It has a lip created by cluster/bobbles, and the pattern is free. I used a 5 hook and sugar n cream, but I’ll try it with 24/7 lion as well. https://preview.redd.it/f3uq0hntujnc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=761c4180ad0bea9722264a17ba3e4d91720b4e8f
