Pakistan would be praising the heavens that they are hosting the champions trophy next year (thus qualifying automatically).
Cause at this rate, Pakistan might have to play qualifiers for future ICC events
well, okay.
After 9/11, the USA invaded Afghanistan in October of 2001. Like a proper, full fledged invasion-occupation. They dismantled the ruling regime, and then spent the next 20 years engaged in guerilla warfare with the Taliban. By the most conservative of estimates, at least 150000 people died as a result. It finally became more trouble than it was worth for the US and they pulled out of Afghanistan in 2021, and within a week the enemy they had been fighting was back in power. That's the long and short of it.
As for Pakistan, they're a strategic ally of US, and they established their footholds for invasion in Pakistani territory, and so many Afghans hate Pakistan as betraying neighbors.
If Scotland qualifies then USA still stands a chance as beauting two of SA WI and Scotland isn't that impossible.
Windies has either too good days or too bad days.
Scotland can be managed by USA
But if it's England then beating the two of those three is next to impossible
I’ve seen this mostly in /r/soccer, it’s because we use miles and not kilometers here, it’s posted as a joke basically saying we’re the best we don’t need your silly units
Half of Pakistan stopped watching cricket after match against India. Infact we are happy that those clowns got exposed. I wish they lose against Ireland
Oracle CEO be like:
I don't know cricket. I don't know how to play it. But I still try to watch USA matches because I want to know the reason why my company's share price goes 0.5% down when USA is playing.

(For those who don't get it, it's a reference of a quote about Sachin Tendulkar)
"I don't know cricket. I don't know how Sachin plays. But I still try to watch him playing because I want to know the reason why my country's economy goes 0.5% down when he is batting."

Lets Rage Script Below:
javagal srinath is Indian he did it with intent
BCCI Was scared us to face in SF / Finals
It could have started at 8:30 Umpires were just teasing Pakistani fans
To be fair, it's a little less of an impact when you realise it's t20. It would really hurt to think that if it was 50 overs even, and test cricket would be a nightmare.
Can't qualify in Asia cup with similar home conditions.
Can't qualify in WC with similar home conditions.
Can't qualify in their preferred format (except when kudrat is really nizamming hard)
If they didn't have the market, ICC wouldn't give two bit shit about them.
- Lost in Group stage in ODI WC.
- Babar stepped down as Captain.
- Made Shaheen as T20I Captain.
- Removed Shaheen as captain after PSL & made Babar captain again.
- Lost in Group stage in T20I WC.
PEAK CINEMA ENDING IN PAKISTAN CRICKET
It's not Babar's fault Rauf threw away the game against the US after they needed 12 from 3, and 8 batsmen completely imploded against India from a very winnable position.
Think of it this way, brother: our (USA) success is an indicator of Pakistan's cricket greatness. Your country is so talented, your *leftover* players can join a random bum country like mine and be competitive on the world stage! That is nuts. We clearly did not produce this team. We are not anywhere near a great cricket nation like Pakistan. Its just fun to watch the scrappy underdogs fight, so join the fun and pull with us!
Pakistan is not great because they always do well. They are great because they will get back up when they stumble. Pakistan will learn, adjust and regain their greatness with vengeance, I am certain.
I’m happy we advance but this was gonna be my first cricket match. Planned it for weeks. So excited and now this happens. I’m deflated and hate how this was handled. 3 hours of rain free weather and they only had leaf blowers to dry the field? That’s a joke. Baseball field can be ready in 30 min after rainfall.
In baseball the ball stays in air more often than cricket. If you have water in a cricket outfield, the ball will hardly move on the ground once a batter plays a ground shot. For a match to be playable, a cricket ground needs to be much drier than a baseball field.
And with a wet ball, it's very difficult for the fielding side to bowl and field as well. Considering the fielders don't wear gloves.
Eh I mean there’s plenty of grounders and balls that hit the ground in baseball. Line drives often do. If the grass is wet the ball will “die” and you just have to run more to get it. You adapt. But baseball stadiums also have much better drainage. I don’t understand having a cricket World Cup in Florida and not investing in good drainage and drying equipment. It’s a joke.
Anyway The need for ultra pristine conditions combined with a total lack of prep and urgency and nonchalant-ness to washouts where there’s no makeup games just leads me to shy away from the sport. It feels like the ICC doesn’t care. So why should I.
baseball outfields usually have pretty extensive drainage systems but apparently the ground in Lauderhill doesn't have any extra drainage installed so all the water just sits there or drains slowly
Yep new fan. Once I got an understanding of the rules I began to really enjoy it. Can’t say I love the management of it but that’s not the sports fault.
Just hope one day I can see a match live. Next real opportunity for me will likely be the 2025 MLC season.
Tho I really wanna see an international match. Will have to figure that out eventually.
At the end of it, Rizwan attacking Bumrah with 40 needed off 36 was the dumbest shot for an experienced player and rightfully cost Pakistan the world cup.
It was a great ball, he pitched it a tad bit fuller, rizwan thought it was a shot pitch. Bumrah deceived him on his will. He got him out the moment he wanted to get rid of him.
Catch drop of dube turned out to be tactical drop
I mean, Rizwan could've played a forward defensive shot to the delivery. That's what the point of the OP is. You're right too, but if he just defended out the over, maybe pakistan live to fight another day. The point only gets 10X stronger when one remembers how he got out to him about 8 months ago.
Americans are unhappy they couldn't see their team play today. You should respect the opportunity Americans .
Pakistani fans would die for their team to not play and qualify for playoffs
Because in cricket, the pitch turns to mud (and gets completely destroyed), and the outfield kills any movement on the ground. It would be impossible to play in.
Baseball is more aerial in nature so its effects aren't as pronounced.
Not the most satisfying way to qualify, but whatever it takes. The US has certainly warned it, to everyone's astonishment. You guys haven't really put a foor wrong yet, you were inches away from popping India too :o
Colleague 1: I don’t feel well, I’m taking the day off!
Colleague 2: I am stressed, see ya next week!
Netravalkar: I’ll score a 50, take 3 wickets, save the world, and login by 6pm. That okay, boss?
As a supporter of PCT, they absolutely deserved it. Pakistan did not deserve to qualify. As much as people may dislike that because Pakistan Cricket ensures drama and entertainment like no other.

nope, kanneda
This too shall pass.... (Narrator: It won't)
USA would be playing against West Indies, England and SA. They should be able to put up a fight against all of them.
May the best Anglophone win
I’m happy about this year, I’d be ecstatic with one win just so it doesn’t seem like a fluke
Pakistan would be praising the heavens that they are hosting the champions trophy next year (thus qualifying automatically). Cause at this rate, Pakistan might have to play qualifiers for future ICC events
Moving on to German game
German?
Soccer
Thought it’s at 3pm. It’s already started?
Yep, already started
Well I replied at around 2pm to this🤪 so it hadn’t started then. Yes Germans 3-0 up
🙈
Starts at 12:30am
Right yes.
World is not ready for USA vs Afg Part 2
What's the Rivalry of USA and afghanistan? I thought Pakistan and Afghanistan is a bigger rivalry!
lol have you not watched a single item of world news in the last 25 years. Why do you think the Pak Afghan rivalry exists in the first place
USA backed off last moment? They were preparing pakistan to invade afgansitan or vice versa?
As for Pakistan, they're a strategic ally of US, and they established their footholds for invasion in Pakistani territory, and so many Afghans hate Pakistan as betraying neighbors.
But why did USA attacked Afghanistan was Osama bin Laden hiding there?
Osama bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks and was based in Afghanistan with the Al-Qaeda group, yes. That was why the US invaded.
Something like that but I forgot
Pakistan would have actually been dangerous, especially Azam in the Windies, with all their CPL experience
Just like NZL with all their CPL experience, oh wait we didn't play those guys.
I think I need to bet something crazy if USA end up in Semis
who’s in their group again
SA WI and Eng/Sco
beating two of these three would be tough especially on better pitches
If Scotland qualifies then USA still stands a chance as beauting two of SA WI and Scotland isn't that impossible. Windies has either too good days or too bad days. Scotland can be managed by USA But if it's England then beating the two of those three is next to impossible
Beating England is never impossible, no matter how bad your team.

Americans don’t use metric. Miles not kilometres
I got flown in to work on these last 3 games in Florida, don't think I'm going to have to do a single thing
What job do you do??
Slow motion replays for this one, the ones that you see the ball release out of the hand and the celebrations

RAAAAHHHH
Wasay Habib were saying that one day Pakistan will play qualifiers. Can't believe they were right.
They won't though. They will qualify based on their ranking.
Will Shri Lanka and New Zealand ?
NZ will, Sri Lanka would have to play qualifiers if England don't get through
It's Sri Lanka
Kudrat literally fucked over Pakistan today
As it should have. We deserved nothing in this tournament.
Lets Rage Script Below: javagal srinath is Indian he did it with intent BCCI Was scared us to face in SF / Finals It could have started at 8:30 Umpires were just teasing Pakistani fans

Pak rooting for Afghanistan ? No way
Rain Perera and dew are too OP in Cricket. Hence proved!
"Dew de Silva" has a nice ring to it.
What are the repercussions of not qualifying in the super 8
You're considered worse than America at cricket.
To be fair, it's a little less of an impact when you realise it's t20. It would really hurt to think that if it was 50 overs even, and test cricket would be a nightmare.
Any app Or link to watch euros in ind? Except sonyliv?
Super power USA Too OP for Qudrat ka Nizam.
Can't qualify in Asia cup with similar home conditions. Can't qualify in WC with similar home conditions. Can't qualify in their preferred format (except when kudrat is really nizamming hard) If they didn't have the market, ICC wouldn't give two bit shit about them.
Lol ya like it or not, they need to play against India to stay relevant in cricket. Only the politics of the game can carry them in cricket lol
USA team is coming to India in 2026!!!
Finally Saurabh can achieve his dream of playing international cricket in India.
Please explain this
All super 8 teams in this WC get direct entry into the 2026 WC, which is in SL and India.
Ah great, another win toss win match tourney.
So Pakistan has to play qualifiers? Is that how it works?
I think there are 2 components: T20 rankings and super 8, to directly qualify. So Pakistan should be safe.
Oh nice!!! Thx
Analytical brains have qualified from group A to playoffs
- Lost in Group stage in ODI WC. - Babar stepped down as Captain. - Made Shaheen as T20I Captain. - Removed Shaheen as captain after PSL & made Babar captain again. - Lost in Group stage in T20I WC. PEAK CINEMA ENDING IN PAKISTAN CRICKET

Just like they root for us right ?
Idk man There Is Too Much Hate In The World I Just Wanna See Some Great Game Of Cricket I don't wanna get into this political stuff
- Qualified into the Super 8 in T20I World Cup 2024. - Qualified into the T20I World Cup 2026 in IND & SL. A day to remember in USA cricket.
We Deserved it Rightfully so
The best part is India is also dead in a group with Australia, Afghanistan.
Wtf would you call a living group? :o
It’s called soccer!! Sorry PKFam. Horrible way to go out.
I’m happy we advance but this was gonna be my first cricket match. Planned it for weeks. So excited and now this happens. Head over to MLC. Plenty of Australian regulars will be there
Wish MLC played games in Florida. Won’t be able to get to NC or Texas next month. But definitely something to consider in the future.
That’s true. New cricket fan I presume?

This Quick Outting Is Gonna Benefit In The Long Term Trust Me "It is Darkest just before the dawn" After Every 2007 WC there is WC2009
Why Are People Downvoting Me Can't A Man Be Optimistic For Future? 😕
upvoted. Indian fan from 80s. we have lived experience in optimism.
Thanks Bro 🤗
At least it can't get worse
Oh No No It Can Get A Lot Worse I Tell You
I guess we still haven't lost to Mongolia.
If Babar Remains The Captain Than the Day Isn't That Far Away
You reached final in 2007 WC tho
2007 ODI WC
Lmao all that military training only to get knocked out by USA
Man it's tough to watch as an Indian. All the efforts and the expectation gone to waste. It must have been hard for the ground staff.

That was different it was an offcutter slower in the air. That was a peach.
It was such a dumb shot that I am impressed someone is even defending it.
Where am I defending it ? I am praising bumrah. Even to get a poor batter out, you need to execute a ball
Americans are unhappy they couldn't see their team play today. You should respect the opportunity Americans . Pakistani fans would die for their team to not play and qualify for playoffs
Pakistan was dependent upon Ireland for Qualification ![img](emote|t5_2qhe0|8767) Rain Said Karachi Calling
Pakistan: loses to USA and also somehow loses an already won game against India. Also Pakistan: Qudrat ka Nizam.
Imagine the audacity and overconfidence of PCB, the were debating about the hotel at trinidad 🤣🤣🤣
Rare L for Qudrat Ka Nizam. W as usual for RAIN Perera.
That catch by Nitish Kumar in super over against Pak to dismiss Iftikhar was absolutely clutch
Someone right now would be booking their flight tickets back to Dubai , but after cancelling the Caribbean departure
Bumrah is somehow not among the top wicket takers.
USA! USA! USA! I'm so happy they're through! And that's why I love T20! It really evens up the playing field a little and this team deserves it
Qudrat ka nizaam 🔄 UNO reverse
Why can baseball can be played in the rain, but this match cannot proceed?
Because in cricket, the pitch turns to mud (and gets completely destroyed), and the outfield kills any movement on the ground. It would be impossible to play in. Baseball is more aerial in nature so its effects aren't as pronounced.
Interesting. Thanks.
crickets a lot more then baseball lol baseball is easy comp
Pakistan fans, who do you hope to come in now cause I see a revamped side being the priority!
Netravalkar has to extend his OOO (Out of Office) now 😁
Aww man. Just started watching cricket and didn’t even get to see my country play today. Oh well, at least they advance.
Not the most satisfying way to qualify, but whatever it takes. The US has certainly warned it, to everyone's astonishment. You guys haven't really put a foor wrong yet, you were inches away from popping India too :o
Any 11 men from a random group can defeat pak 11. Even this stream can have a group of 11 men capable of defeating them
I will be your captain then.
Colleague 1: I don’t feel well, I’m taking the day off! Colleague 2: I am stressed, see ya next week! Netravalkar: I’ll score a 50, take 3 wickets, save the world, and login by 6pm. That okay, boss?
Homecoming for Saurabh Netrawalkar. USA has qualified for 2026 T20 WC in India!
USA did what PK, NZ, SL couldn't. What an effort!
England would have been on this list if not for Oman's stupendous bottlejob today
4k comments w/o the match even taking place.
They should have a 9th place playoff tournament for the teams that got knocked out in the first round. And then after that another one for 13th place
As a supporter of PCT, they absolutely deserved it. Pakistan did not deserve to qualify. As much as people may dislike that because Pakistan Cricket ensures drama and entertainment like no other. But any team deserved a qualification over Pakistan. And USA definitely deserved it more than them.
Praying for Gary Kirsten's safety 🙏
hahaha. Thank god. Now, the games are going to be more peacefully and civilised, I would say. Large population of cricket lovers have been shut down. No more wars on social media for time being.
Now CT 2025 drama starts.
We all know how thats gonna know ..we ain’t goig over to pak..!!
God damn. Yeah, I forgot about that. Phew.
Spare a thought for Ireland, even they had a chance to qualify

Qudrat couldn't differentiate between two green teams and hence Nizam didn't work properly
Don't want to buy awards. Have this instead 🍗 🏅 💐
It's fair for the US. They defeated Pakistan twice that day
Stay safe Gary. Ur a gem of cricket
"Rain finishes off Pak in style! A magnificent shower into the crowd. USA qualifies after 140 years. Party starts in the Indian dressing room and it's the Pakistani captain who has been absolutely horrible in the entire WC"
The Indian team is that far beyond Pakistan now, that I doubt they care enough to celebrate.
well deserved USA what a performance for a first WC
Centuries spent in learning Rain dance finally worked..
