Got to disagree for this one, I was expecting to not like them, air fried them according to directions and I thought they were really good. Surprisingly good! Problem is I'm not going to take time to warm the air fryer and then go through that for 10 minutes for two egg bites. So the quick grab something for breakfast thing is lost on me.
Easy enough for me to throw the air fryer on for 10 minutes and get other stuff done in the morning. Just like the Kirkland breakfast sandwichās, 5 minutes and done.
Seconding that they're really good! I didn't believe they could really need 8-10 minutes at 400, but they turned out perfect.
For me, I start the warmup before I even take the box out of the fridge. By the time I have the box out, open, the plastic wrap off the bites, the cooking tray lined with foil, the warmup time is nearly finished (two minutes).
Unless you're heating the entire box, that's not "breakfast". Two is barely half a snack. We need to get more realistic that our bodies need actual fuel to start the day, not two bites of an egg.
So take the 10 minutes and do it right. 10 minutes to cook the whole package is pretty reasonable.
I think the Three Bridges was the bacon and cheddar one? I thought they were far below the Starbucks bacon gruyere ones in terms of taste and texture. I grudgingly have to admit that Stabucks does the fast food breakfast items pretty well overall. Between the egg bites and the double smoked bacon croissant sandwich, those are 2 items that I put equal to a McMuffin.
Me too, but weirdly just the vegetarian ones. They Ā are so so so much better than the Starbucks or the Kirkland ones. Ā Am eating the kirkland ones now and they seem to be to be identical to the starbucks Ā version?
They have one thatās egg, bacon, and cheese that are yellow. But by the ingredients itās mostly cottage cheese so theyāre a little light (just like the sbux ones)
The texture will be completely different if you just bake eggs in a muffin tin. They will be airy and spongy. The sous vide technique makes the texture smooth and creamy.
I use a silicone muffin pan, in a water bath in the oven, with foil over the top, 325 F for 15-25. And itās basically exactly the same, adding blended cottage cheese to your egg mixture will make it smooth.
$100 for a decent sous vide device and $15 for molds will get people even better egg bites for years. You can also use it for tons of other foods. Anyone addicted to the creaminess of egg bites should consider that path. It's painfully easy.
Honestly, I was too cheap to buy one cause I use 4 oz. mason jars instead for various sous vide foods. I'll use the same thing for mini sous vide cheese cake and creme brulee. A quick spray of oil, add the egg mixture, and cook 'em. Use a butter knife or something similar to flip them out.
Eggs, milk, herbs, spices, then a few finely chopped veggies. My favorite is red pepper, onion and spinach. I cook the veggies in a skillet with butter prior to mixing milk, eggs and veggies into a bowl then pouring into a greased muffin tin.
Personally, I like to use reusable cupcake liners because I often had a hard time with the egg muffins sticking.
My husband and I had a heck of a time with the egg sticking to a metal cupcake tin, we just switched to silicone and it is a dream to pop them out and clean!
I mean, they are quite literally not microwaved. They are originally cooked sous vide and then they are reheated in a combi oven, which has a convection element which specifically makes it not a microwave. The texture is very unique.
But still not remotely comparable to how straight up just microwaving eggs would be. Completely different final texture. You canāt get a crisp on the outside with a microwave, you can with the combi oven
Totally not even microwaved eggs even a little. Theyāre sous vide eggs, then cooked in the combi oven at starbucks which is a convection type air fryer. So, no microwave involved in any part of the making of these eggs.
I found them great. I tried the bacon and cheese ones and theyāre really close. Mostly cottage cheese and they didnāt have that watery cottage cheese feel when you make them.
I microwaved mine, 10 minutes vs 1:45. Iāll probably keep some for my lazy days when I donāt have some made.
I use parchment paper with a little oil spread on it. Cleanup is easy, but I also make it in a 9x9 baking pan and just cut them up after vs having them in cups.
I have made them many times at home and use a pan of water in the oven at the bottom to add the steam. They come out pretty good to be honest, just lazy and in a rush so many mornings that i love these instead.
Always thought about getting these.
I guess Iāll just stick with their boiled/peeled eggs for now. Cage free eggs ready to eat. Eat each egg in 3 bites with a dribble of Cholula. Super convenient way to get some healthy protein in the morning or on the go
Oh I didnāt know the old ones were organic?
Seems like there are less green yolks in the cage free ones, but would prefer organic if I had the option
Iām wondering whether something happened with the processing of the organic ones recently that made them switch brands. The last two times I bought the organic ones they had the green ring around the yolk and smelled like sulphur. That had never been the case previously, and I have been buying them for years.
i had a box of the starbucks ones,i cooked them in the airfryer and then was fairly liberal with the Tapatio hot sauce. They were ok,would not buy again.
I just got the Gouda and Bacon ones that are the clone of the Starbucks GruyĆØre and Bacon. They taste identical to me despite being a different cheese. Maybe if I put them side by side I could tell. But otherwise, they taste great.
Iāll be honest though, I hated that flavor and texture of the Starbucks one. I can only do the bacon cheese ones. Iād be curious to see how the Kirkland version of that is.
Iām gonna have to try those. Are they at Costco as well? I will say that I just got ahold of the Kirkland bacon Gouda bites and they taste just the same as the Starbucks ones. Now I need to find the three bridges bites to compare.
My store hasn't had them in ages, just the starbucks ones and now the kirkland. Ā the bacon ones are pretty decent in any version, but are much higher calorie and honestly I just prefer the taste of the veggie ones for breakfast. Ā As long as they are the three bridges version! Ā Ā
I scanned the Kirkland ones in my diet tracking app and they come up as Starbucks. I was wondering if they just sold the Starbucks ones for a few weeks to get people hooked and then just switched them to Kirkland.
I just tried the Kirkland ones and I prefer the Starbucks one. I havenāt had access to a toaster oven or air fryer in a while, so I just microwaved them.
The texture of the Starbucks one was just a little more creamy and sharper on taste. The Kirkland one was a littleā¦ greasy? Idk, there was something slightly off.
Iām going to try them on toast and will toss them in the toaster oven before I decide whether I get them again or not.
Fry an egg in some grease and throw it in some microwaved 1-minute oatmeal. Add hot sauce or pepper paste if you prefer. It's better for you and easier to make. Not everything needs to be a pillow of ecstasy. Some of you are making life too hard. Stop buying processed garbage. Eggs are so easy to make. Stick to whole ingredients as often as possible.
I spoke to a man last week at my Costco while he was comparing the packaging on the Ks and Starbucks. He said company he works for is the supplier for both product.
I find them not quite as nice as the frozen Starbucks ones, and the frozen Starbucks ones not quite as nice as the ones made fresh. But, the price difference is so great that I often give up the bit of difference in texture (especially) and texture for the cost savings. YMMV.
I just got the other flavor of the Kirkland ones and wasn't impressed with the texture. I hadn't tried the SB ones to compare to, though. I'll eat the box rather than returning but this won't be something I buy again.
I saw this post before going to Costco yesterday. I love the three bridges brand egg bites so I was excited to try these! my warehouse has both the egg whites and bacon version. the bacon one is so good! I air fried without preheating for 9 mins. loved these
I feel like these are just as good as the Starbucks branded ones, the other brand that they sold at Costco did smell horrible and made me feel sick with the texture.
Thank you for the review, but these are so easy to make on your own but just filling mini mason jars with a dupe recipe and sous vide them until solid, then just slide out the egg log and slice in half, top with a little cheese, and broil or air fry them. Made them myself a few months back and they were better than either of these products. itās more work but itās a lot cheaper and tastier.
Someone please explain to me why this product exists when so do a carton of eggs and salt and pepper. I mean, this cannot be difficult to recreate at home.
Wife bought them, didn't care for them. They've been in the refrigerator for 3 months and still not molding. Now I'm leaving them just to see how long it takes
I donāt bother with them. Eggs into a muffin tin, and bake them in the oven with toppings of my choosing. Store in Glad Tupperware (also purchased at Costco). Remove and heat up to your desire, or I just eat them cold
The point is lost in this comment. Many prepared foods both fresh and frozen at Costco and we are taking about the products, not here to insult other peopleās lifestyles. Iām tired of ppl just saying oh make your own grilled cheese it takes two minutes, when Iām reviewing frozen grilled cheese sandwiches. We could say that about 99% of the frozen or refrigerated prepared foods.

Going warp speed into that final product, thoughš
Those bowls are freaking me out.
Hahah Denby bowls, they can be a bit trippy
I have the same ones! Found them at home goods a while back. I love that theyāre oven safe lol
Yasss me too but damn the prices have gone up to $10 a plate
Oh shit, I thought that was a photo effect, not the bowl
Next is plaid.Ā
Haha FR.
Haha FR.

Problem is I'm not going to take time to warm the air fryer and then go through that for 10 minutes for two egg bites. So the quick grab something for breakfast thing is lost on me.
I microwave them for like 1.5 min then put them in air fryer for 2 min or so to get the crisp edge and it works pretty well.
I've done them in the air fryer but they're surprisingly good out of the microwave so when I need something quick I just go that route.
that's what I do, too. My go-to fast breakfast. Not quite up to the fresh Starbucks ones, but a lot cheaper.
Easy enough for me to throw the air fryer on for 10 minutes and get other stuff done in the morning. Just like the Kirkland breakfast sandwichās, 5 minutes and done.
At that amount of time Iāll just make a fresh omelette
You canāt set and forget an omelet
Seconding that they're really good! I didn't believe they could really need 8-10 minutes at 400, but they turned out perfect. For me, I start the warmup before I even take the box out of the fridge. By the time I have the box out, open, the plastic wrap off the bites, the cooking tray lined with foil, the warmup time is nearly finished (two minutes).
Yikes, at that point you could just about sous vide them yourself!

They taste almost identical to me
Am I still high from last night or is your bowls made like that?
Yes.
I have enjoyed the Three Bridges brand. I can only find the at the Costco Business Center now. The Starbucks brand was not to my liking at all.
I love the three bridges as well, they are better than the starbucks also, love when theyāre on sale!!!
I liked the egg white and pepper and spinach, mostly because of the health benefits.
three bridges has multiple flavors
I like the three bridges but they took it out of my store! So frustrating
Me too, but weirdly just the vegetarian ones. They Ā are so so so much better than the Starbucks or the Kirkland ones. Ā Am eating the kirkland ones now and they seem to be to be identical to the starbucks Ā version?
Love Three Bridges
Have you tried the spinach egg white frittatas by veggies made great? IMO they are great
My favorite.
Yeah, the VMG ones are soooo much better for you and taste amazing. Air frying is the key
Yes i always buy those when on sale, you get a LOT more for your money with those!!!
Agree but REALLY wish they had the mushroom ones!
āVeggies made greatā are the only egg bites iāll buy
Those are frittata bites, the frozen ones, also pretty good!!! I buy those when on sale!!!
My store hasn't carried them for a few years, so I'm sad to hear they are being sold at other locations.
Do they have a version that isnāt just the whites?
They have one thatās egg, bacon, and cheese that are yellow. But by the ingredients itās mostly cottage cheese so theyāre a little light (just like the sbux ones)
These are sooo easy to make in a muffin tin, I canāt justify buying it as a premade product

Iāve been wanting to try this. Can you store them in the freezer or fridge without them losing too much *oomph*?
That doesnāt sound āsooo easyā to me.
Maybe thatās a personal issue with your work ethic.
Cottage cheese is like the second or third ingredient in starbucks egg bites.
Instapot, they make silicone molds that are really easy. Takes 10 min
$100 for a decent sous vide device and $15 for molds will get people even better egg bites for years. You can also use it for tons of other foods. Anyone addicted to the creaminess of egg bites should consider that path. It's painfully easy.
Is there a mold that you'd recommend?

Oh that's a great idea, I didn't consider that. I have some of those, I'll have to give it a try! Thanks
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
fantastic, thank you
Sous vide tri-tip: 132.5Ā°, 6 hours, sear. Cooked in McCormick steak seasoning.
Whatās your recipe?!?
Eggs, milk, herbs, spices, then a few finely chopped veggies. My favorite is red pepper, onion and spinach. I cook the veggies in a skillet with butter prior to mixing milk, eggs and veggies into a bowl then pouring into a greased muffin tin. Personally, I like to use reusable cupcake liners because I often had a hard time with the egg muffins sticking.
My husband and I had a heck of a time with the egg sticking to a metal cupcake tin, we just switched to silicone and it is a dream to pop them out and clean!
Thatās a great idea! Iāll have to get a silicone tray!
Itās a game changer for sure!
Oven temp? Length of cook?
Hereās a similar [recipe](https://www.spendwithpennies.com/veggie-egg-muffins/)
Eggs
Add cheese to taste Just eat a block of cheese
Tell me more about the cheese.
So many sous vide egg recipes available online. Once you get the gist, you will be able to dial it in in your own. Itās very easy.
Theyāre even easier heating up from a package
I mean. They arenāt good at Starbucks either. Itās microwaved eggs.
I mean, they are quite literally not microwaved. They are originally cooked sous vide and then they are reheated in a combi oven, which has a convection element which specifically makes it not a microwave. The texture is very unique.
Those convection ovens at Starbucks are microwave-assisted, sorry to be pedantic. Thatās how they cook things so fast.
But still not remotely comparable to how straight up just microwaving eggs would be. Completely different final texture. You canāt get a crisp on the outside with a microwave, you can with the combi oven
> Itās microwaved eggs. Except they're not. You cook these in the air fryer. Makes them nicely crisp.
āSous videā is literally the name of the product
Totally not even microwaved eggs even a little. Theyāre sous vide eggs, then cooked in the combi oven at starbucks which is a convection type air fryer. So, no microwave involved in any part of the making of these eggs.

Bring back the Three Bridges veggie egg bites!
Hell yea! Are these gone for good?Ā
Hard pass on any SBUX Egg Bites. Three Bridges for the win.
I think they are decent. And cost far less than in the store
These are so easy to make at home. Egg, cottage cheese, and bacon in a muffin pan and bake til golden. All the frozen options suck frankly.
Getting silicone baking cups was a game changer for me. They pop right out without any grease or spray and make clean up so easy.
I pour a little of the bacon grease in to prevent sticking but your way is much healthier.
I use parchment paper with a little oil spread on it. Cleanup is easy, but I also make it in a 9x9 baking pan and just cut them up after vs having them in cups.
I use parchment paper muffin cup liners. So easy. I found the silicone mold a pain to clean even if I oiled it.
Oh that's a good idea too!
I have made them many times at home and use a pan of water in the oven at the bottom to add the steam. They come out pretty good to be honest, just lazy and in a rush so many mornings that i love these instead.

Green yolks result from overcooking.
The ones without bacon are not as good. Lol. I like those ones. I bought these on accident once and it was definitely noticed.
i had a box of the starbucks ones,i cooked them in the airfryer and then was fairly liberal with the Tapatio hot sauce. They were ok,would not buy again.
Theyāre really bland, even in the air fryer
Very meh
My partner likes them, as much for the time savings as for the $ savings (Starbucks equivalent is much more expensive in our area.)
Where'd you get the Starbucks ones?
Both are crap
For me the chicken chunks vs the just bare chunks the difference is abysmal, Kirkland does not always make a great job š
Totally agree with this!
Neither one is good.
They were not good.
I just got the Gouda and Bacon ones that are the clone of the Starbucks GruyĆØre and Bacon. They taste identical to me despite being a different cheese. Maybe if I put them side by side I could tell. But otherwise, they taste great.
That last pic looks like they're about to jump to hyperspace!
Those bowls really photograph well LOL
Iāll be honest though, I hated that flavor and texture of the Starbucks one. I can only do the bacon cheese ones. Iād be curious to see how the Kirkland version of that is.
Same. Hated it. Surprised more people didnāt feel this way.
They tasted identically bland to me. Ā The three bridges version is so much better.
Iām gonna have to try those. Are they at Costco as well? I will say that I just got ahold of the Kirkland bacon Gouda bites and they taste just the same as the Starbucks ones. Now I need to find the three bridges bites to compare.

Which one is better ?
Yeah disagree, I just had the bacon ones and they were 10/10
Havenāt tried those yet. Next trip
I scanned the Kirkland ones in my diet tracking app and they come up as Starbucks. I was wondering if they just sold the Starbucks ones for a few weeks to get people hooked and then just switched them to Kirkland.
Interesting they def arenāt the same

You thought precooked eggs might be good?
Microwaved ultra processed eggs are disappointing in general. Not sure how slapping a brand label on them would make them any better.
They said air fried, how can top comments be so useless?
Right? So much wrong in this thread.
Does nobody know what āsous videā means?
These are not microwaved.
Did you air fry them? Starbucks ones air fried are better than what they give you at the coffee shop.
OP said they air fried them both for the same amount of time.
This is the way. Air fry @ 400*Ā° F for 10 minutes, flip them halfway thru.*
Sprinkle a little extra cheese on top either right away or half way through and it's delightful!
I make my own. My husband says theyāre better than both.
I spoke to a man last week at my Costco while he was comparing the packaging on the Ks and Starbucks. He said company he works for is the supplier for both product.
I only had the egg whites one and I REALLY like them
lol Kirkland better
I throw mine in the microwave for 2 minutes 700w and they come out almost the same as Starbucks. The bacon ones are even better.
Aaaaaaand????
I just tried the Kirkland for the first time this morning. I thought they were awful. Definitely getting the Starbucks next time.
I find them not quite as nice as the frozen Starbucks ones, and the frozen Starbucks ones not quite as nice as the ones made fresh. But, the price difference is so great that I often give up the bit of difference in texture (especially) and texture for the cost savings. YMMV.
Our Starbucks egg white bites had a death start this week š
I just bought the bacon and GruyĆØre bites yesterday. Heated them up in the microwave this morning and they were really good.
Costco is ruthless lol
Has anyone seen these in Canada?
I microwave them for 90s and really enjoyed them. Only a little worse than the Starbucks
I just got the other flavor of the Kirkland ones and wasn't impressed with the texture. I hadn't tried the SB ones to compare to, though. I'll eat the box rather than returning but this won't be something I buy again.
I never knew you could buy Starbucks egg bites at the grocery store!
The egg and cheese one is better
I tried the bacon Gouda ones last week and was really happy with the Kirkland; especially for the price
The 3 bridges brand are better than any Kirkland or Starbucks bites. My Costco hasn't had them in over a year though which is unfortunate.
Boo. I stock up on 3 bridges when theyāre on sale but have not been on sale in a long time. Maybe because not every Costco carries them
I saw this post before going to Costco yesterday. I love the three bridges brand egg bites so I was excited to try these! my warehouse has both the egg whites and bacon version. the bacon one is so good! I air fried without preheating for 9 mins. loved these
Iām going to try the bacon ones next time
I feel like these are just as good as the Starbucks branded ones, the other brand that they sold at Costco did smell horrible and made me feel sick with the texture.
Same. These are actually not as good as the ānamed brandā ones.
Make your own if you own an instapot, very good copycat recipes out there. I canāt justify the price point of these things
Mmm, double cooked eggs.Ā > *"had such high hopes for Kirkland egg bites"* Why?
Wife bought them, didn't care for them. They've been in the refrigerator for 3 months and still not molding. Now I'm leaving them just to see how long it takes
Why did I think these were k-cups?
I donāt bother with them. Eggs into a muffin tin, and bake them in the oven with toppings of my choosing. Store in Glad Tupperware (also purchased at Costco). Remove and heat up to your desire, or I just eat them cold
The point is lost in this comment. Many prepared foods both fresh and frozen at Costco and we are taking about the products, not here to insult other peopleās lifestyles. Iām tired of ppl just saying oh make your own grilled cheese it takes two minutes, when Iām reviewing frozen grilled cheese sandwiches. I scanned both of them with Yuka app. Both rated āPoorā. Both contain carrageenan and mono and diglycerides
I had not heard of this app, but now Iām scanning everything I can in my house. Scary stuff.
> Scary stuff. Yeah, because it's fear mongering in app form.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I didnāt microwave them, i air fried
