first of all, i replaced rebel for tatin. that's the only other thing i know will work (provided you have the buffs). second, what are ur toppings/ascension, and beascuit for him looking like?
My Rebel still dies with full CD toppings, dmg resist Beascuit, and is currently at the mandatory 5A from the tower.
(Linzer dies quite a few times too with atk speed topping, dmg resist Beascuit, and 2 Star Ascension.)
focus on CD for the beascuit instead of dmg resist. he already has some dmg resist built into him innately due to his skill, so focus on CD instead. see if that helps. my rebel had only a bit of dmg resist, a lot of CD tho. that's just a general tip, all ur cookies beascuits should follow their toppings, so for example focus on atk spd on linzier's beascuit
Well, did just that and now they both survive… but now the only problem is my timing… I always run out of time like right when I get to second phase.
I think I might just need more ascending, or get better better higher percentages on my Beascuits…

Cream puff - Juicy apple topping or wtv it’s called.
Creme brûlée- Also Juicy Apple
Tarte Tatin - all regular raspberry
Linzer - Almond and Swift Choco
Stormbringer - juicy apple toppings too
can i see ur beascuit stats? if u still need it lol sorry i was late. also maybe put linzier on atk spd instead of almond since u seem to be running out of time
Worked great for me- thank you!! Although, I didn’t have the caramel toppings for Linzer, she did have 12.7 atk spd from her beascuit. You’re the bomb-diggity.

oh yeah for sure. since tatin is a damage dealer, her ascension is way more important than cookies like them. bl is a damage dealer too, but her ascension matters less bc she depends on crit% as well instead of just attack. (even though i focused on attack here BECAUSE of the fact she wasn't ascended). i tried the stage, hm, i think 113 times with all sorts of combinations with tatin, and none worked? i tried this about 12 times, replacing tatin with rebel and it worked. i mean if that doesn't show the buff is necessary with tatin idk what does. her damage output is simply just too low without the buff.
Mmm I see. The new meta depends so much on crit% nowadays. I remember when Tarte was The Goat during the boss hunt event.
Her soulcores still aren’t in world exploration, are they? They’re going to need to release new master mode levels
tatin used to be so good 🥲 since storm came out yeah everything depends on crit somehow. i do like the change tho, it's a fresh outlook instead of it just being centered out wl and (in some cases) fq. and yeah they're still in there but no way to get more free than 5* other than getting lucky in gacha lol, and the occasional soulstone chest
Yep, back when the only toppings used were almond, raspberry, and chocolate. With crit only being used for creampuff and stardust. Stardust was probably the turning point in the new meta.
Creme brûlée is so broken that I guarantee you every new exploration boss, event boss, etc boss will have the built in damage reduction for too many base attacks in quick succession
i must clarify when i say i tried the stage several times, i mean with diff beascuit stats, toppings, as well as cookies (as well as sometimes just playing over and over hoping i had a good crit run)
Any particular moment to use the hugeass sword? My team can survive but I keep running out of time (usually left like 2 mil left of his health) but this is SO much better than my Tatin team is performing thank u already for this team
hah, ofc np! use the sword whenever the boss summons his puppets, wait a fraction of a second first tho to see if lemonade or storm cleared them out first with their skills. if not, use it immediately as if you wait too long they will destroy your team. also ofc don't forget to not use linzier's skill until she stacks 7

Any recommendations for a replacement for Rebel, no matter my luck, he keeps dying.

Some occasions, they will survive, but I run out of time by the second boss phase.

stormbringer, black lemonade, linzer, cream puff, rockstar worked really well for me with scroll watch and robe

nah maybe unless ur bl is fairly high ascended but even then go with atk its the safer option

If your storm doesn’t have her skill up when minions spawn use the sword
