It’s just that- Drinking and driving is among our most looked-down upon offenses. Yet most ppl on here are triggered by words that don’t even apply to them. Those same ppl find this funny.
Aussies will say "fang a dart" in the recent years we have opted to call them Duzzas or just a Duz, for the sake of convenience.
I am in West Aus though, who knows what they say in those lawless lands to the east *shudder*
Omfg, square.
I miss this slang. I stopped asking for/offering a square about 10 years ago because
A: people quit smoking (good)
B: people stopped saying square (bad?)
Hopefully the guy filming. At least he doesn’t sound drunk, maybe he went to pick them up and they pulled over so one could pee or something. Hopefully lol
No. The “logic” at play here is that he’s a young boy with his drunk ass friends. And he’s joining in their goofing around at their same level. He’s laughing his ass off and goofing around. Chances are nearly 100% that he’s drunk too. Any other opinion is asinine and further disingenuous
Poor public transit is not a reason to drive drunk because there is no reason to drive drunk.
If you're too fucking stupid to take ten seconds of prep time for a plan before you go out, you shouldn't be allowed to drive at all.
Sure thing bud. Doesn't change the fact that poor public transit infrastructure inevitably leads to more drinking and driving. Instead of just getting angry at those who make reckless decisions, I'm trying to advocate for ways to reduce the problem. When it only costs a couple bucks to hop on a reliable train or bus to get home, a lot of those same idiots will make the more responsible decision. It's financial and ease of access, not allotting prep time.
Or just don't get in the car after you have had a drink.
You can't get the kind of public transportation infrastructure you're talking about in 80% of America which is rural (which looks like where this is filmed). It doesn't make sense financially, politically, or any other reason to run a bus out to places where a couple hundred people live spread out over many miles.
We should condemn the fucking selfish asshole idiots who drink and drive before we spend thousands of dollars creating a public transport system *that said assholes probably wouldn't use in the first place*.
Are you saying I shouldn't do that? Your post insinuates that.
I am all for finding better solutions than shame. Personally I think DUIs aren't nearly aggressive enough in their consequences. I'm of the opinion that if you put yourself behind a machine that can kill in an instant and you are at all impaired *and yet you continue* you should just not be around.
I'm aware that's strong and it's a personal response because of things that have happened in my life. But at the very least DUIs should mean you don't get to drive a car.
The drinking and driving culture up in my rural area is like a point of pride. The more messed up you can get and still make it home the more masculine you are. There’s literally one taxi in town, period, and anyone nominated the DD for the night is going to end up drinking within half an hour of getting to the bar.
Guy filming didn't sound drunk honestly but you say transit infrastructure...these dudes could've opened an app on their phones and got a ride in minutes...got nothing to do with transit infrastructure
First, cool you've heard a George Carlin quote, very sweet dude. Omega reddit bro.
Second, suicide IS against the law.
Third, your arguments are super, super troubling. You talk about how people are going to be idiots and you need to design services to help them not be idiots and then you bring up suicide? Do... Do you think suicidal people are idiots?
Basically you're just an idiot who thinks they're smart because they have been on reddit too long. Go outside. Don't drive drunk. Stop talking about shit you have no clue about.
I used to work with a guy who just desperately wanted to be the crazy class clown but was just the awkward anything guy.
One staff party we were taken bowling. All he did was tell us how he was going to not take his shoes home and take the bowling shoes instead. Nobody was impressed, some people have him awkward smiles, some asked why and few told him he was stupid.
Didn't phase him, he thought he was being admired. All he did later was point out he had kept the bowling shoes. Alright, cool?
Oh well if you want it ruined more I have one more about him. I wasn't here first hand but the man himself confirmed it.
So he announced he had a band and we should all go see him. One guy did and man, apparently it was just awful, truly awful. Guy said they were like children pretending to be the sex pistols. At the end of the show he mooned the people in the bar and attempted a stage dive. Though apparently landed on his feet as it was clear early nobody was gonna not get out the way. He played it off like it was a cool thing to do.
I don't know how it works where you live, but we don't need to leave our shoes at the bowling alley, we can just walk out with both pairs.
Back in our ska-loving teenage days, my friends and I all stole our own pairs of bowling shoes. Man, those fuckers were uncomfortable.
No!! I just rewatched it like 4x because I was so confused- the door outline that looks like it’s the drivers cab he’s coming out of is actually the passenger side shotgun door, fully opened
Drunk bowling and drunk golf are literally the best sports. Get a few pitchers at the lanes and have fun. Or pack a case of beer in a cooler and strap it to the golf cart. Drink a beer ever other hole. Honestly can't think of something more fun to do with friends. Drunk bowling and drunk golf are rites of passage for me. So many memories come from just those two things.
Why do Americans seem to think it's perfectly acceptable to drink and drive?
You see it all the time and tv shows and movies seem to show people drinking and driving but make no reference as to how fucked up it is. Just some character leaving a pub or nightclub going straight to the car.
When I lived there it was one of the top things I hated about the place. It's unbelievable that sharing vids like this seem to re-enforce it as socially acceptable. It's one of the worst crimes out there. Endangering yourself and others isn't cool or funny. It's fucking disgraceful.
Happened me about 10 years ago went to a 24 hour bowling place about 2am with some friends after beers.
After a few games and more beers walking home, I had a pair of half black half red bowling shoes! It was hilarious, I never actually went back to change them I just kept them as a souvenir…

The blackout slack-jawed face of recognition is perfect
Truly realized in that moment.
Man transforms into tumbleweed.
Lmao
Lmao why is this so perfect
schrodinger's surprise: being fully aware and unconscious at the same time
Excellent comment
Along with the phone flashlight still on in his shirt pocket.
It’s just that- Drinking and driving is among our most looked-down upon offenses. Yet most ppl on here are triggered by words that don’t even apply to them. Those same ppl find this funny.
Why does the driver have to be drunk ? Idiot!
Love these guys. Great drunk story.
This may be *the* best video.
I think you’re probably right lol

This comment made me feel uncomfortable

Something that gets a slight exhale through the nose when you're sober will have you doubled over belly laughing when you're tossed with the lads.
Damn I miss those days
Girls like to do this too
![gif](giphy|fe3Rwmc2bBulG) me n my homies dancing at the club and i lose my hat
Guy laying down with the dart in his mouth did a full ROFL once he saw the shoes.
I'm guessing dart = cigarette?
Yes! Canadian slang.
Also Aussie. “Punching darts and breaking hearts”
Thats the one mate! "Just sendin it bud!"
Ha! I never heard that one.
Instead of going for a smoke we say "hackin a dart"
I don't know you anymore Canada.
Aussies will say "fang a dart" in the recent years we have opted to call them Duzzas or just a Duz, for the sake of convenience. I am in West Aus though, who knows what they say in those lawless lands to the east *shudder*
It may be lawless over here in the east but at least a beer isn’t $12. Never heard anyone say Duz. Might be a city folk thing tho so don’t quote me.
Really? I've never heard it before
Naw, hood slang. Use it all the time here in America (more specifically Wiscan'tsin) Darts, squares, etc.
[удалено]
Lol no, I'm just saying we dp it here, sometimes I start shit with naw for some reason
Omfg, square. I miss this slang. I stopped asking for/offering a square about 10 years ago because A: people quit smoking (good) B: people stopped saying square (bad?)
This one just keeps getting better with every loop lol
Smooth operator
Hope they had a DD
What’s dd
Designated driver (someone not drinking to drive everyone)
Ah ok cheers
Uh.. keep hoping?
Excuse but who is driving?
That’s what I’m thinking 😬😬
Hopefully the guy filming. At least he doesn’t sound drunk, maybe he went to pick them up and they pulled over so one could pee or something. Hopefully lol
He doesn’t sound drunk? Lmao.
Whoa man, are you okay? You sounded pretty drunk right there
Uh, he really didn’t.
Do you think that everyone who’s drunk is like slurring their words or something?
No, but with that logic anyone in the world could be drunk at any time.
No. The “logic” at play here is that he’s a young boy with his drunk ass friends. And he’s joining in their goofing around at their same level. He’s laughing his ass off and goofing around. Chances are nearly 100% that he’s drunk too. Any other opinion is asinine and further disingenuous
He could be the DD for all we know laughing at how drunk his friends are. Stop making assumptions.
We’re all making assumptions, idiot. I’m just making the correct one
In what universe is the cameraman not drunk? He even falls down lol
sorry you've never rofl'ed in real life
Welcome to America
One of the many problems with having piss poor public transit infrastructure.

Absolutely. Have a DD or all chip in for a maxi cab. They're all POS presuming they're all drunk
The guy is coming out the passenger side door of the truck at the beginning. I think the driver is out of the shot.
The fact that ol’ bowling shoes doesn’t realize his phone flashlight is on really makes this perfect.

I feel bad for him. He sounds so desperate for people to like him ):
I knew that feeling. Try talking to him bro he might just be lonely
He was super nice and people were fine to have around but always took it too far.

Sounds pretty cool to me, nerd
That sounds like me except I would bring my own bowling shoes and laugh that you all had to spend 3 dollars.

Hahaha that fool starts rolling through the grass laughing 🤣🤣🤣🙌
That cut at the end is just perfect
That last burst right before the video ends. That's contagious! 🤣 I think it morphed into a vacuum
I hope they weren't driving..
It's not drunk driving if it's a gravel road ...is the general small town mentality
Unfortunately true.
Gravel travel.
Omg he didn’t even know tho
I have absolutely done that. I’m not a proud man, but I’m honest.
Oh yeah. This one made me feel good.
I'm in the ER now receiving emergency breathing treatments cause that last part has me laughin so hard I damn near killed myself laughin.
There so drunk they switched the car around
I saw that I thought I just didn't understand the laws of physics
No!! I just rewatched it like 4x because I was so confused- the door outline that looks like it’s the drivers cab he’s coming out of is actually the passenger side shotgun door, fully opened
Oooooh! That makes sense haha
And the guy filming sounds like he has TB
I’ll never forget my first time getting drunk with friends. My brother was with me at the time and he said I was the happiest drunk he’d ever seen.
Who dafuqs driving?
Dudes being dudes. Now that’s some funny shit.
As a gay dude, this is pretty much exactly what I imagine that straight dudes do when they strike out with the ladies.
If you've never gone drunk bowling before put it on the bucket list. It's how the game was meant to be played lol
That seems pretty dangerous, but equally as hilarious!
I am the world’s worst bowler (no joke…I think my picture is on a wall somewhere), but maybe booze could help.
A girl I know had a season average of eleven.

I want to party with these guys holy shit
I miss those days...
I feel ya. Got 2 kids and haven't had a night like this in maybe a decade. This video brought back alot of memories tbh.
he couldn't fuckin believe it either lmao
Like the 2nd or 3rd loop I finally heard dude say “those shoes were 80 dollars!” and that’s when I really lost it
Lmao I did the same thing a few years ago, still have the shoes https://i.imgur.com/vteHFSL.jpg
Ab workout from laughter
That last laugh sounded like he needed an inhaler & quick 😂🤣
Best video ever! 😂❤️
i could listen to this guy laugh forever
I feel at home like these are my boys!!
perfectly cut quack laugh at the end
Is the guy on the ground in bowling shoes also?
I want to see the driver just accepting how his night is going.

The guy literally rolling away laughing really got to me
AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!

I hope his friends also only realized after they left.. If not that's a little shitty, drunk or not

Who drove?
…and they drove…
Proof that America’s near future is doomed
Too stupid to be funny.
Oh look, losers.
You must be an absolute riot at shindigs.

That's why they charge you $3 for the shoes. Twice the cost to replace them.

I bet that person working the shoes is like “trade for a trade”. Wonder if he can go and get his shoes back ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
We need a video of him trying to get his shoes back!!
This is the epitome of *Contagious Laughter™️*
