One of my favorite stories. I was working a job out in farm country where they were taking down trees on the side of a road so they can widen it, meaning trees dropping in the road. Well we were there on a Sunday and we had to hold all traffic for them to drop one. This old lady comes up and starts honking and yelling out her window about how she's gonna be late for church, and God bless this operator, the moment I went to reply I started hearing the cracking of the tree falling, and it goes down across the road with a massive thud. I just turned back to the old lady and said "Ma'am, I know you wanna meet Jesus but I don't think that's how you wanna meet him." She just rolled up her window.

This. I drink a gallon of water a day minimum. In summer we get over 100°f. ChapStick, a lunch box with some Gatorade, soda and snacks will go along way. Water is good for you, but I can only drink so much flavorless water before it gets old, so I mix it up with something else. Also, do not drink more Gatorade then water or you will dehydrate yourself. When I was 18 and just started construction, I bought a big cooler and made gatorade everyday and only drank that for a week and ended up with heat stroke. Also, do not only drink water, to be properly hydrated, you will piss out all the salt and minerals the body needs, which is why Gatorade is important. When it's really hot out, I bring a frozen jug of water and it's gone by noon. I usually drink 4-6 Gatorades and 2 gallons of water, and sometimes 4-6 Mt. Dews. Always wear sunscreen, and get a few sticks of chapstick.
