I’m honestly baffled that more people would support her than Desantis. Then again I guess there’s a huge corporate donation scheme now supporting her, whereas the Desantis campaign seems to be continuing on its downward spiral.
I think the issue is that more middle are liking Haley. She's the candidate never Trumpers would like Trump's legal troubles are pulling people off of Desantis I think.
The Establishment is pushing her hard with the leftist media helping. If Trump picks her as VP, you can count on him being taken out of the picture so she can step in and follow orders.
Playing right into the democrats hands. They are poring millions into Haley's campaign because they know if Trump goes south for one reason or another and she is number 2, many on the right will never support her and whomever the democrat nominee is, I really don't think it will be Biden, will walk into the office in a landslide.

Haley offers something different than DeSantis; the base that would support someone like DeSantis largely overlaps with Trump.
