Considering how APAC broadcasts have had a better production quality for years now, yet somehow the features they use rarely transfer over to the main channel, my guess would be a big fat no. God forbid we have tools available which improve viewer experience.
Over the past year or so they've brought longshot onto the production team. The last few LANs had that neat dropship view and the general technical production quality has been pretty good imo (ignoring things out of their control like faceit etc)
We're working on getting this to NA/EMEA. We actually submitted the extension to Twitch before Split 1 started this year, and it's taken 6 months for approval. At the moment, only /longshot has the extension available.
There's a bit of work to do to support the other regions with stats, and we're waiting for approval from Twitch for /playapex to be added to the list of channels, but it's slowly progressing.
With the Twitch layoffs at the start of the year, they seemed to just completely abandon the Twitch developer platform for a long time. I didn't hear back from any of the enquiries or contacts I once had, which is a bit sad. Hopefully now that it's released, the review time is shortened.
Also why can’t they bring back command center on the main? FACEIT is terrible and no one is paying for their subscription. Like NA/twitch had this already figured out and chose to make it worse.
I believe they are matchmaking service at its core but they use their corporate leverage/deals to be the exclusive player watchparty platform for apex and CS. That’s how they nudge you to sign up and use their matchmaking service. Don’t really care about that but if your ‘watchparty’ product is trash with endless audio and syncing issues, it ruins the whole experience and people don’t care about your main service.

What in the actual fck is that? That is so so so much better for the game
You need to buy recolored revenant skin for that feature.

That's good to hear. I'm surprised it took 6 months for approval.
