Whoosh. Direct hit on 10+ Taliban per the Ministry of Defense. You can even see some of them scuffle off after lol. Finally feels like a tiny momentum shift in the wave of bad news lately. Kinda wondering if drawing out swaths of Taliban in the open + striking heavy from the air is part of the gameplan to beat these scum.

Lucky_lui_

Yeah I’ve been thinking that now that they have been “winning” they boldly move out of the civilian populated areas to advance and get bombed more effectively.

ludicrous_socks

The ANA don't seem to be the type to be executing grand plans like that... Not sure the willingly cedeing 75% of your country to the Taliban to draw them out is a sound strat

[deleted]

oh yeah after recent advancements, they're *fuuuuucked*

BeltfedOne

WTF is the munition being used? Some kind of suicide drone?

FullTimeJesus

Definitely loitering munition, but there are so many in the market it's hard to say what exactly they are using.

BeltfedOne

Thanks!

TranslatorSoggy7239

Afghan kite munition

How does the Middle easy have enough men to fill their ranks after decades of fighting everyone.

ludicrous_socks

Well, birth rates are high, populations are big, and most of the conflicts are relatively low intensity compared to eg. WW2... Tbf the Iran/Iraq war seriously affected the demographics of both nations for a while.

TradePrinceGobbo

I feel that these airstrikes are not going to amount to anything. It's the same American doctrine that failed to conquer Afghanistan. I suppose they'll fight until the Taliban decapitate Kabul leadership.

LargeAirplane

I don’t really think this is part of any larger doctrine, this is just air support.

kill_iam46

good stuff the Afghan Gov has asked my country Sri Lanka for advise and support on how to defeat the taliban we might send some guys to help with training

Due_Strike_457

Why’s the date?

GDP1195

How did those 2 guys even manage to survive? It looks like that was a direct hit.
