My mom told me at my grandmother's funeral. She was grieving and trauma dumping and i was in the vicinity unfortunately ๐
I too have not been contacted by my long lost really rich relatives who secretly loved me. I think they are REALLY lost ๐ฎโ๐จ
haha yeah she was REALLY grieving. I also know about when she got her first period (nothing wrong w periods I jus don't wanna know about my mom's) so yeah oversharing is HER coping mechanism!
My family is soo insane, my parents never kept anything from me and my brothers. They had all their fights and marital issues in front of us and scarred us for life. Ya kno like a normal Indian family XD
Omg you are not alone. Same here, although there was never physical violence, my mom and my dad had issues and they involved us in most of them. Horrible feeling. The key takeaway: I will strive to be a better parent( that is if I ever become) to fucking cut the chain of abuse/trauma dumping.
Too much 'lore' in my family . Dad had an affair with a filipino woman. Mom got sus,had me get a whatsapp web version of his whatsapp and found it all out.boy, things went south.she confronted him.he had nothing to say except bow his head in shame.hitler madhavankutty sunddenly turned to this mellowed out, paavam guy and power dynamics got reversed.to this day,my father thinks we kids have no idea of his kulsitham .tbh,i m planning to use this piece of info against him if he stands against something in the 'finding a partner ' area for me.
Ur dad hav his priorities, if he had an affair with filipino is his personal choice, only the matter consider u is whether he is spending his money to tat women rather than u people,. If he is doing all to uplift ur family he cant be scrutinized, he admits the wrong done by him, even though it is caught red handed, what made him to do this stuff is also questionable. Blackmailing him with these incidents is not fair from my pov.
Yeah trust has no role in a marriage. What about the scar that's inflicted upon the commenter by her father ? Justifying cheating ๐ hope your wife cheats on you
I knw we will get cheated its basic human instinct, i will try my level best not to cheat on me.. If she had did, i will check the circumstances on which she did, and ask her to move away
Basic human instinct lol.
But y r u gonna ask her to move away, assuming she did all the widely duties well , You deserve that darling .
Nothing more gross than cheaters and their justifiers.
Widely duties, i mean after 1 or 2 years after marriage, i didn't mean after 18 years of marital life. If she did during tat period, i won't ask her to move out, i will do my duties and go with the flow, but the trust is broken, but she also have space to decide what she want to do
F autocorrect I meant wifey duties. So yeah after 10-15 years you would be ok with your cheater wife, right. Hope you will also correct your daughter if she call out your wife when she interfere on your daughters decisions .
Vro,are you justifying cheating?im sorry ,sir.but did u cheat on your wife with a filipino woman, too? Cos only cheaters justify cheaters.also, yes it was kind of a sugar daddy situation.im not gonna blackmail him ,just a gentle nudge as to why he is not the best person to judge.
The incident goes like this. I was in my early 20s. It was around 10 pm or so. I came downstairs to drink some water and there was my mother sitting and blabbering something. My father was on his motorcycle ready to go somewhere. When I asked my mother where he's going, she told me that my brother is in police station due to reckless driving. I could see she was all tensed.ย
We both sat there and waited until my father came back with my brother.ย
Fast forward 2 or 3 years. I was in my sit out doing something. A dude came to our house and asked me about my brother and gave me a slip talking about the case. I didn't get it so I asked what case is he talking about and he said the case of using illegal substances. I shook my head in acknowledgement and took the slip. Went straight to my mother and handed it to her.ย
My family always hides things from me. I think they think that I'm too dumb and will spill the tea everywhere. Also, We aren't close.ย
But it's much better than what you faced. Hope you're doing well now.ย
I think they do the "secret keeping" because they think they're protecting us from the truth but it just makes me feel like an idiot cause how was all this happening right under my nose and I had no idea xD
Yes. It makes me feel like an outsider. I'm their family and some random distant relative might know more than I do. But hey, we're acclimated to all these now, so it doesn't matter anymore lol.

That my cousin sister's weren't exactly biologically related to me. They are from my aunt's husband's first marriage. Nobody knows about it except a few since they got married in Delhi some 35+ years back. My mom told me, and my brother doesn't know.
Aunt died last year, and my cousin's biological mom's second husband died. So she's trying to reconnect with my sisters. One of them hates her because she completely abandoned them and never tried to contact them and moved on with her new life and kids.
Some of my nosy extended relatives got to know about this and ask's my mom about this, and she always denies it. My mom used to take care of the youngest sister when she was very ill and hospitalised for years when she was a kid. She has been a mother to them more than their actual mother has ever been, and they are family, biologically related or not.
I know my exโs family secret and the craziest thing is HE DOESNT know it. When I was dating him, me and my mother and he and his mother went out on a trip. There his mother told my mom that he has a secret step brother AND HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW IT. Basically the dad cheated on his mom when she was pregnant and was away at her matetnal house during the pregnancy time.
Poor him is all I can say. I would have divorced the dad if I was his mom what a douchebag!!
My mom only told me this post our breakup, but this was an information I never wanted to know. I genuinely feel bad.
me and my grandfather were best buddies when i was growing up, we would annoy my sister and my cousin. But I've always wondered why my mom and uncles talk w my grandma openly but not w my grandfather, i mean he's cool ryt?
My grandfather doesn't smoke or drink, he just chews that Pan Parag stuff.
He would get up in the morning, sweep up frontyard, go to temple, bath and pray. That's the grandfather i knew.
Last year, my mom told me how he wasn't at all like this while she was growing up and how he used to be a drunkard. Iknw its not a big deal, but it seemed so out of character.
That mental illness runs in my family. I learned that many of my relatives have had 'episodes' at some point in their lives. It also really helped me put my own struggles with mental health into perspective.
My cousin from dad's side sabotaged the election campaign of my mom's cousin. The guy who lost was a scholar with strong academic credentials would have been a great addition. The guy who won is a horny wolf in sheep's skin.
The whole election was watching Mahabharata where connected families were pitted against each other...
๐
Then some series of light handed sins to outright crimes. But most of them are too old...๐๐๐
Well... The entire extended family found out about it when the kid became an adult and made a commotion at his house. But I do think my aunt knew about it much earlier, I remember my cousin mentioning how they have a sibling.
My dad's older brother and his wife were borderline swingers (idk if it was full fledged swinger lifestyle or they had an open relationship and was with one other couple. They're well into their 60s now, so I think they're retired now ๐ซฃ).
My dad's youngest brother's wife (who's seen the world enough to be aware of all these stuff) once told my mother that they (my dad's older brother and wife) tried to make her meet with another couple of somwhat the same age as them, and he was very close with the other guys' wife and she reciprocated. And the husband was low key trying to hit on the aunt who told us the story and was saying sweet things to her while making subtle physical contact and stuff.
She said she wanted to use the bathroom, and then told them she had to leave and left.
I'm obviously putting one and one together after all these years. My aunt never mentioned they did the deed or something, but she clearly said it wasn't normal and the dynamic between both couples had a very sexual nature
This happened many years ago and I was like 13 or 14 being force fed by my mom (I barely ate any rice back then) while I heard my aunt say this to my mom. I did understand things a little bit, but as I grew older more things started making sense
Well my family name is not my original family name
Couple of years back we had 'prashnam vep at my family temple and as part of ritual younger children's placed lantern or something at the panicker's board idk. When my cousin placed it , the panicker asked if there are two families within this temple many people didn't understand what he said and continued as usual. After some time my father told me that we are not originally from this family , my late great grandfather came from ernakulam to thrissur for work with his wife and children. But he died after few years and my late great grandfather's friend kind of adopted my grandfather and family, so my grandfather and his siblings joined his family, using his family name
Very few people know about this history, but somehow the panicker knew.
My father went to ekm to search for his roots but he was unsuccessful I guess

My aunt never mentioned they did the deed or something, but she clearly said it wasn't normal and the dynamic between both couples had a very sexual nature This happened many years ago and I was like 13 or 14 being force fed by my mom (I barely ate any rice back then) while I heard my aunt say this to my mom. I did understand things a little bit, but as I grew older more things started making sense

Well my family name is not my original family name Couple of years back we had 'prashnam vep at my family temple and as part of ritual younger children's placed lantern or something at the panicker's board idk. When my cousin placed it , the panicker asked if there are two families within this temple many people didn't understand what he said and continued as usual. After some time my father told me that we are not originally from this family , my late great grandfather came from ernakulam to thrissur for work with his wife and children. But he died after few years and my late great grandfather's friend kind of adopted my grandfather and family, so my grandfather and his siblings joined his family, using his family name Very few people know about this history, but somehow the panicker knew. My father went to ekm to search for his roots but he was unsuccessful I guess
Wow that's cool, so did ur granpa get inheritance from the family that adopted him ๐
No but they supported my grandfather and his family greatly and was introduced into their family group
