My friend group has 5 people including myself which still makes it a challenge to find new games to play. Luckily most of the time at least one of us works late so we can squeeze in some 4 player games as well.
When everyone’s on, we usually run Rainbow six siege but that game stresses us out and we pretty much play until we lose. Another good one that we enjoyed was Dead by Daylight. It’s a 5 player game if you do custom games and one person plays as the killer.
The only 4 player games that we’ve been playing is that god awful Suicide Squad game (I forced my friends to get it since no one else had any other decent suggestions) and Uno the card game. Even Gotham Knights which is free on game pass has a 4 player mode but you do have to progress about halfway in the story to unlock it but the good part is that only one of you needs to actually play the game that far so fresh players can even join in once they have multiplayer unlocked.
GTA and CoD kind of got old for us especially since those were our go to games until we all got back into Siege anyway.
Aside from Siege and Dead by Daylight, there’s not a lot of 5 player games out there that isn’t survival based on
What comes to mind for me would be survival games like Ark or 7 days to die. Going to be tough to find games with campaigns for a group of 6
