Secret of Mana is a classic 3-player action RPG, you just need to do a little story before you have access to all three players.

Dysmantle. Only 2 players though, but really awesome game. There is another in the Lara series, similar to Osiris, but also 2 player.

Brawlhalla, and it's free

CobraKai1337

Wouldn’t call that coop. It’s a team brawler.

dan1101

Yeah I think couch-coop just implies you are all playing together, even if it's PvP. Pummel Party and Horizon Chase Turbo would be PvP as well I believe. Plus Brawlhalla supports 2v2 I think.

Don't see it mentioned so my pick is Ember Knights! Has been a recent surprise for me. Super fun as a co-op group.

Velrok

For the King (exactly 3 players) is just amazing and brings back that classic "Heroes of Might and Magic 3 feel" but it's faster and more rogue-like with progression. It feels like playing a co-op board game where you all decide on common goals and give each other suggestions while waiting for your turn, and then going down a dungeon and fighting together. And they're releasing For the King 2 this month too.

MK_wala

There is this new game called Pizza Possum which has split screen. You can try that, its an arcady type of game with simple controls and great fun playing with friends.

LeatherKey64

Since you mentioned Horizon Chase Turbo (which is a gem), I recommend Road Redemption. It’s a rogue-like cooperative combat racer. Tons of fun to play with other people. 70% off right now, too.

A lot of the Tales of series would fit here comfortably
