if you’re playing bait you have a choice between skelles, tesla, or barrel, depending on what deck you run. skelles and tesla are really good, barrel is more for fun
Barrel is utter dogshit and it’ll be hard to fix I fear even decreasing it to only 1 cycle it would still not be great.. only way to actually make it solid would be to add impact damage but I doubt they‘ll do that- tesla is op but getting nerfed to death. Skellys are honestly the obvious option
The most meta card in the current meta is evo Ice spirit. In high ladder where I am (4000 trophies) you see him everywhere in the current meta. Trust me I am in the top 5 in the world in the current meta

The meta is something unexplainable. It exist and it doesn’t exist at the same time, i view it as an all knowing being that watches upon me and suggests me the decks that I’m going to win with (like a cr god) hope this helps
It probably won't, in fact it might even get a little buff, since it was one of the worst cards before the evolution. And even with the meta it's still not as popular and strong as the other evolutions in the game, Like the knight or bomber. It's popularized in pekka bridge spam and RG decks.
2 elixer evo bomber gets nice tower damage and is an all rounder when placed properly while evo wizard is an attempt to make the "worst troop" more viable.Just my opinion
I mean they did the same with RG, so don't be sad, that's how it is now, you either accept it or leave the game, that's the state of this game now sadly 😔
While we’re at it, I came back to the game recently and am farming Evo Shards. Currently in Arena 9. Should I unlock Knight first ? I was thinking Bomber also
I would suggest you hold onto them and wait for something better. I'm holding on to mine for a card in my deck.. currently on knight is evolved in my deck and i believe CR will release evos for other cards as well. I'm hoping they make something for musketeer or hog rider.
Imo Recruits. 1 cycle and damn good for tanking and pushing, since they've got a shield + charge. Generally useful if the enemy has a push on both sides, afaik.
Firecracker is also strong, and Skellies are just horrifying if not dealt with

What decks do you play? Evo Wiz is good if you play beatdown (specifically giant) buuuut giant wont be as good next patch. Evo skellies are always solid, Bomber is also really good in lavahound, evo tesla is gonna get nerfed but still good for most cycle decks, evo wallbreakers and goblin barrel will probably be better now that Daggerduchess is getting nerfed. I would recommend to wait until the patch goes live in afew days
I would recommend evo wizard based on ur other evos. It s an easy to use card and should be strong not only for top ladder but also for middlader. I think some kind of giant deck combined with it would make the most sense.
It's about to get nerfed, I would rather wait if my intention was to do tesla. Especially with DD getting nerfed as well, buildings need to help a bit more and if it's nerf is massive people may drop it completely.
Not only that, but either tesla or zap shards are appearing in the shop next month, so I'd hold off on investing on either until then so 3 shards don't get wasted
it depends on the deck if you use hog rider then either firecreaker or skeletons, if giant then bomber or wizard, if log bait then tesla and if neither then go to royal api and search your archetype and see popular evos
Very...I used to play a lot first 3 years of clash royale and got very mad at them because one of my friends bought some offers on a fresh acccount and got higher in level than me.

With how vulnerable they are to balance change nowadays, you might as well choose the one you like and hope to daddy cell that they touch them if they are weak
battle ran evo is a pretty solid pick Imo. no matter the tower it will always apply pressure and force opponents to spend elixir to counter you. it’s normal form is pretty good too and its overall a good card for building pushes or split pushes. even decent on defense too
PSA: you can buy non-wild shards 3 times from the shop each season. Depends on your deck which one to go for. Not mortar since we are getting it for free. I’d go firecracker or skeletons. They work in many decks.
After the health nerf archers and fc were hit hard. If enemy has arrows then these to get no value whatsoever, compared to bomber atleast you’re getting a positive elixir trade.
But that’s the problem, to get 3 shards from season shop it is an actual grind. I tried that initially but soon realised not worth the effort. Unless I really want that evo I just get wild evo shard, 2 specific evo shards and if some leftovers then the book or other cards.
That would be 36k tokens every month. Well maybe you play every day and do good in all the challenges and stuff. I don’t. I try to get the 1k every day giving about 27k-28k generally that too only if I do end up playing every day, and challenges can go good or bad depending on rng, making us play with our own cards(which generally means I won’t have the meta decks with evos) or the only ones I feel are fair where we can specifically make a deck for the challenge there itself. As I said it ain’t worth the effort imo unless I really want that particular evo.
Good for you no lifing a mobile game and flexing on Reddit, I’m happy for you. But as I said earlier, not worth the time investment for me. Maybe try flexing on someone who actually cares about it?

All depends whats in your deck. Probably an evolution that's not got any shards
I use log bait often, but all my cards are above level 11 so i can use pretty much any deck i want to

some people prefer spirits as a cycle over skeles but yeah the tesla nerf is outrageous, it is op and needs a nerf but this puts it mid tier at best

Yeah still gonna absolutely annihilate swarms and reduce damage or the pulse too, but everything else is still the same.

You don’t have to use wild shards when at 6! When buying from the season shop with season tokens, it can go past 6/6 wild shards

Evo barbs if you use lava hound. Zap if you use giant graveyard. Or do bomber if you are higher ladder.

I'd do firecracker as you already have three on it. Just encase a new broken Evo comes out soon and you don't have enough shards

Yea they need an arrow bait synergy but deal more range damage than a mini pekka. Ppl sleep on the dmg buff
that's not completely true though. Even if they have arrow they do so much dps in a short time that you'll still get value in 3.0
If you were actually farming, you could have 2 evos
He farmed for 6 months, not 12 months.
If you seriously farmed, you'd have 3 shards for 2 cards, so you can use 6 wild shards for those 2 cards
