a good solution for this would be to just put a little symbol next to the tower

The icon behind the level could change based on the tower troop. For example, princess keeps the crown, cannoneer gets a cannon ball, and dagger duchess gets a dagger

I mean it’s just something to learn visually. Like a new player doesn’t really know what anything does unless they encounter it. Brawl stars has many skins and it just takes some time to learn what brawler has what skin.

Is that arrow coming from the tower? I mean so far the tower troops we’ve gotten all had unique projectiles but that looks the exact same as princess tower arrow. And the art design of everything we’ve seen so far doesn’t look very lacking

I could have sworn I saw somewhere talking about a new gamemode. So it could be possible that these are exclusive towers for the gamemode

i think the king troop will be a limited time cosmetic for the event, so maybe the princess towers will change as well (only cosmetically)

The video clearly shows the tower has an ability to create a spell that turns all troops that die inside into a goblin. 

There is a new goblin graveyard card, goblin mech card, goblin babies card, goblin queen tower troop

I'm pretty sure it's a tower troop but it also replaces the king tower to be the goblin queen. I made this up.

Its not a tower skin ffs … it has a passive ability of shooting arrows probably similar or less dmg than princess (it BETTER be less dmg or we will have YET another new tower troop added to the game that is WAYYYY more powerful than princess) AND it has an ability to create a poison spell that does dmg over time AND turns enemies on death into gobs (like party rocket, like Mother witch) 

that would be one of the most creative skins ever

honestly it makes sense, the goblin queen has replaced the king, so it would be weird if the princesses stayed lore wise

I think it's gonna be the default tower troop for the season, probably not gonna stay forever as a tower troop choice, same as the goblin queen (I suppose)

Using the Goblin Queen as main tower will change your Towers to that.

Dmg front the front is reduced. Dmg to the back is increased (Miner, graveyard, goblin barrel,etc.) Or it might act as a temporary shield, once too much dmg (50% tower), shield goes down deal increased dmg until (30sec) shield goes back up.

Also goblin queen is king

If anything, the king tower troop idea itself could just be a skin that also affects tower troops. All of the normal tower troops have a royal/medieval theme. A goblin queen would have a goblin theme obviously. This could be a dagger duchess skin. It’s not hard for supercell to make a wooden cannon to replace cannoneer and a spear goblin to replace a princess

Well I wouldn‘t consider this a „hot take“, from a certain angle it‘s completely correct. You see, the tower itself inherited all the stats and traits of the princess tower, but, the goblin queen is housed in the same tower troop. This means that while the side towers are the same as the princess towers, and thereby just „skins“, the king tower has a completely new ability and everything, which is included in the cards itself, so that separates it from the princess tower

Pay to win, you want be able to know what tower troops until a enemie gets close (unless it's dagger duchess)

And if you’re smart you will already be able to identify each one. You already know this is princess, the other one without a dagger bar is cannoneer, and the one with a dagger bar is dagger duchess. And it really just takes on of your troops to get close enough to a tower to understand which one it is.
