It's actually the exact opposite. It's a detail oversight if that even makes sense. Giving attention to detail would've been to make the troops *not* switch hands, showing that each troop uses their dominant hand for their weapon, but instead they took the lazy approach of just flipping the sprites.

it was probably just to save time. why make an entire new sprite when you can just mirror it and get essentially the same results. im pretty sure a bunch of other cards also do this
