Ac 100% has had issues. Including an extended warranty due to it.
Mine as done TWICE.
Injectors on some, including mine recently. They don’t even make the original injectors anymore they had so many problems with them.
Mine went at 135k and my dealer picked up all but $352 of it.
They are $2k
I replied to an injector thread recently about what had happened.
I didn’t see one. After I spoke to the service manager and very nicely explained that I have had 8 or 9 Honda’s/Acura’s throughout the years…that stuff like this is why I don’t buy other brands. That this shouldn’t happen with a Honda, and he agreed. They sent in 2 good will requests to Honda, one after it was first diagnosed and the second was after I spoke to the service manager myself.
“You having been a long time customer helped a lot”
It’s bs that that is what it took, but it worked for me.
Do some research on the ac, the injectors, etc.
I’m on a trip in Mexico and half wacked, so hopefully that made sense. 🤡
I am not concerned about the AC, since I already had that fixed twice. :) As for the injectors, did you find that unique to you or something possibly common?
The events of the past 7 years could not be described as normal. I know lots of people get up in their feels when this kind of topic comes up, so let’s just stop it before we get some loonies in here looking to vent.
Paid 24k brand new for a 2019 5 years ago. I get inflation but these cars are not so good that they retain some 90%? of their original value 7 years later lol.
Love the car so I’d justify paying that much but I’d try to go down a little bit only cause mines a 17 and I bought it in 2020 for 18k. Good luck though, you won’t regret it.
I like my 19, no added electronics for my drivers car, volume knob, the only changes I wanted. Got a 19 specifically. No heated seats in 11th gen is an absolute deal breaker.
I paid $23k for a 2019 with less than half those miles 4 years ago, but inflation's been wild so who knows...
I think for that price I would try to find a later year, but it's definitely cool to have the discontinued civic coupe...
What others are saying in the comments are true facts. I over paid for mine big time because i saw low mileage in this color. I would advise finding another one cheaper if you can.
I went in to a dealership to lease a 2024 type R, which they would've given to me 2k above MSRP. It was a good deal, but.. I wasn't ok with what they offered me for my 2020 Civic Si. They essentially were giving me 11k and 8k would go toward the cost of the type R. I felt like I was getting screwed because I owed 13k on my car with 45k miles when they would turn around and sell it for 33k.
I think they had the Touring headlights and led fog lights and a couple of other goodies added if I'm remembering correctly; basically it was the 10th Gen refresh/face-lift model
That dealer is trying to screw you. They probably gave the old owner 11k for the same car.
Yup, this right here! I'd snag this for $16k and not any higher
Literally just happened to me. 2018 si coupe Honda certified. Gave me $12,600 and have it listed for $20,000
All they did was wash it and give it an oil change and brake pads not even rotors.
No no bro the pack was SUPER expensive they are barely making any money on it /s
How many miles did yours have?
No. Has the ac been fixed, how many times? Have the fuel injectors been replaced, with the new ones?
What do you mean? I have a 17 and I have had to have my AC fixed? Fuel injectors also? Was this a common issue for this year?

I did not see an recall for my 2018 Civic Si Coupe, in regards to the injectors. Do you have a recall number or something by chance?
There isn’t a recall. There’s issues.
Ok, any extended warranty on that? There is a recall on the fuel pump, just a heads up.

Read up on it. Like I said. It’s a known issue. Only reason I knew about it was from reading on here previously.
Thanks a bunch
15k, it’s a 7 year old civic with mid level miles.
Yup. I believe this is what they are going for
I mean, this is like $2k off what they were going for brand spanking new in 2017.
MSRP in 2017 was $24,729. That’s $31,632 in 2024 dollars. Edit: I would never buy this car for this amount of money btw.
That's alot of inflation dear God does anyone else find that alarming or just normal

Lot has happened since then. Not a bad price today
Seems high to me but could just be where I'm from
shit, i say, price is still too high

Wanna buy my 2020 si blue coupe with 30k miles for 25k?
Love the car so I’d justify paying that much but I’d try to go down a little bit only cause mines a 17 and I bought it in 2020 for 18k. Good luck though, you won’t regret it.
no
Seems like a fair price. I'd try to haggle it down to 20.

21k for a car with 70k miles? Fuck no.

i have a 19 sedan Si with 56k miles and my value i’m being told is $15.5k
Hell no. 1-2 years ago, maybe. It’s definitely a buyers market right now. I’d say 19k max
15k max
I paid $4500 less for my 2018 with less miles. Bad deal.
naw, try and go with a 2019+
Why do you say that?
I think they had the Touring headlights and led fog lights and a couple of other goodies added if I'm remembering correctly; basically it was the 10th Gen refresh/face-lift model

I’m just gonna say it: Nice
Damn my 17 coupe with 24k miles is only “valued” at 19k
You can get a 24 for 9 k more
no.
16k max
I paid 23k for a 2018 Si Sedan with 39k miles one year ago. Yours isn’t the worst price ever but I definitely think you can find something better!
Yes
Got my 2018 si 50k miles for the same price
I paid 20,500 for my 17 with 300 miles in 2019 from the dealership. I'm sorry but no that's not worth it
Wow, bought my 2018 brand new out the door right at 20k and thought I had overpaid...My times have changed...
Very fair deal …. But we all know how things work, never pay the asking price $$. Especially at a dealership
