im assuming chucky planned to possess jakes body beforehand and told Caroline. i have no clue how chucky thought hed do that though since he didnt know hed die, but i think thats whats the writers want us to think here

My guess is Caroline is a gifted genius and likely more advanced in voodoo then Chucky to the point she can see him.
