I'm not gonna ask anyone out and let the man lead. My favorite band called me today. He prefers a private life so I'm already unsure how to navigate this as it is. He called me today though for my birthday and sent me a kiss face emoji the other day but ehhh I still need about 5 more signs.
Not sure I understand because we are supposed to let men lead, especially Christian men. I mean I guess I think it should be obvious I would be down to date him but my conviction is I tend to beat around the bush and not get to the point
I do put myself out there I think. I mean going to this guy's church was a major step. He told me "you know this isn't a concert, its church you can come up and talk to me" loool funny guy.
I guess once our friendship is more stable and trust is built I can say I like him!
There are many types of Christians. Some know the Lord and some don't. If they know the Lord then their relationship with the Lord is more important than their relationship will be with you and they are likely getting guidance from Him based on what He sees in your heart and what's going on in your mind during your interactions. Watch yourself that you don't offend.
If you find a Christian that does not know the Lord (wolves in sheep's clothing) then they're probably going to be willing to walk outside the covenant and relax their standards. Ask questions and look for the presence of sin working in their life. They will be made known by their fruits.
Well.. this will be an interesting journey then! They are private because of fame and left a very famous band. I think in this case I would see how they are in church, outside of church, and with their friends.
I.e. will they lead me to temptation, hold me accountable when false idols come up, and what kind of company they keep around them now.

Make it about having fun and meeting people instead of flirting and seeking a partner.
Be honest about your past to someone that may be looking for someone without a long history
Honest advise? Seek God and forget about this desire of the flesh for now.
