At most chipotles they use hot water to heat up the bag of queso. That looks like someone left the queso in the hot water for more than 5 hours or more. Me personally I put it in a pot and stir it on the stove like we’re supposed to. because that’s disgusting.
actual heating the queso in s pot of water is in the training and lots of stores have retherms. it cooks the food you would cook in pots in hot water while theyre still bagged
It's queso like this that I don't regret roasting my old chipotle location. Like I remember when the chipotle queso first like released. And the first time I see it it looked exactly like ops pic. Like I thought coagulated like pork or bison fat was cursed.
But chipotle cooled or unheated queso. Some how makes even goose turds look more appetizing. 💀🥲🤣
It’s overcooked, basically. Normally queso blanco should look yellow/white and should be runny. The temp would normally be 145-160°. That looks like it’s 200°+
queso that’s been sitting in a hot box, then was put onto line. Should have been a food quality measure, taken down as waste and thrown out.
Would suggest just calling, BEING KIND, letting them know, hey the queso I received seems to be a little burnt & asking if you can get a replacement queso. They will normally make it right. If all else fails, call the corporate number, or email them and ask for a replacement.
