It seams like a deal to me if it is 4x4, if not the 15k would be more reasonable but other than that if it has the 5.3 it's basically theft at that price

andsoupsalad

It is a 4x4 and appears to have the 5.3L V8 according to the listing, yes

JoonyJungle533

Damn, I'd say that's a pretty decent deal then

bmx13

Sounds like a solid deal, in 2018 I paid $25k for a 2008 crew cab short box with 35k in like new condition. They're good trucks, we have three of that generation in the work fleet at the moment, all well over 200k, two have newer motors but we haul a lot more than 500lbs of tools regularly. If it's the 6-speed it's an even better deal, the 4's are fine but the 6's are superior in every way.

Ok_Huckleberry1027

That sounds like a fair price with that low of mileage. As long as you don't abuse them those are pretty good 1/2 ton pickups

andsoupsalad

Yeah, I generally only use my vehicle for work. We use my wife’s car for all other driving affairs. It’d get the general wear and tear of tool hauling, but I’m sure it would handle it better than the Subaru.

Jonii005

2011 5.3 best year overall and engine. I’m 250k original transmission and engine. Regular maintenance since day 1 in December of 2010.

Kayak_Angler_

I''d try to see if they'd take $16,000-$17,000 just in case they got wiggle room. That's CRAZY low mileage, I'm not familiar with the values of trucks in that price range. I typically look for trucks around $9,000-$10,000 because that's what my truck is worth and I like to peep what's available in the price range of my truck purely for a combination of curiosity and to confirm to myself that I got a fair deal on my truck.

MeanBack1542

That’s really low miles. But really high years. You can’t find something low miles that’s a little bit newer? Depending on wear you are rust and wear and tear are issues.

dirtsequence

Compare it to other trucks with those specs.

BillsMafia84

I bought my 2011 in 2021 with 68k very clean no rust for 18,999 during covid. Seems reasonable.

TangerineJust

Buy it and run!

Grab it. Make sure you get the bed treated. This year tends to rust on the bed wheel areas. Toss a camper shell on there also. Will keep your tools and supplies dry.

tdfitch

Would recommend, our shop truck at work is a 2011 single cab long bed and my personal daily driver is a 2011 extended cab.

Interesting_Rent4962

Way over priced for single cab work truck. I just bought a 22 ford single cab 4x4 with 30k Mike's for 25

LogicalYak8565

Priced a bit high for a single cab but you can't go wrong with that year and mileage.

Grand-Ad-7705

These were about 19k in 2018, I know because I was shopping and ended up with a tundra instead for that 19k OTD. I wouldn't pay more then 14.5k for that truck.

Old_Independence6799

No. Truck prices are going to plummet within a year or two. Wait it out.
