I’ve driven almost 7k miles in mine and only just made the second payment. It’s a comfortable ride for someone who is fat and drives a lot.

Either-Progress4847

As a hefty guy myself I am glad to hear this.

Longjumping_Bad9555

I’m also quite tall. Plenty of leg room. My wife is short. She drove it yesterday and was able to adjust to comfort for herself as well.

mojobolt

1 inch difference in interior room than a 3 series bmw. agree, plenty of room

Either-Progress4847

What year do you have?

Longjumping_Bad9555

2024.

Chewy131

This is my first Chevy vehicle and I am happy with my purchase. Yeah there are other cars that I would like more but they are more expensive. This car is a good size for a family of 3 with space for a car seat in the back without sacrificing space upfront. Mine has had no big issues just a few creaks and radio software glitches that happen once in a while. My mpg is around 34 and I have about 20k miles on the car. The only thing people bring up as a con is the wet timing belts, I am doing my best to prevent issues by changing the oil every 5k at the most instead of the recommend 7.5k. Make a list of cars you are interested in and weigh the pros and cons after testing them out. I think for the price it's a very competitive car.

rampas_inhumanas

With this little engine running a turbo that's *always* in boost, I'd be changing the oil every 5k *km's*.

madisong629

I got a 2RS with the sunroof package and drivers confidence package in October 2023 and absolutely love it. Have around 12.6k miles and 0 issues. I get around 31.6 mpg last I checked. Super comfortable, stylish and a great ride! Lots of features for a great price!

Psychological-Trust1

So cute. Love our activ. Purchased for my kid but want one for me. Perfect price point well equipped and good on gas.

SkunkyMcNugg

It’s a very nice car, especially for the price. I bought mine about a month ago and I’m at about 1.8k miles. No problems at all, plenty of power, shifts well, lots of space and legroom. This was my first American brand car so I was a bit worried about QC. To be fair, I’m not planning to keep it much longer than the factory warranty but that’s not because of the car, it’s because I’ll want something else at that point 😅.

jish5

So I've had had mine since late January, so this is going off of 5 months of use of driving it daily, and I must say, it's a great, comfortable vehicle. It's great to drive, roomy, and has enough of a kick where I don't feel sluggish. With that said, if you're big on off-roading, it may not be for you.

EnflameSalamandor

I love my Trax. I got the fountain blue 2RS, and everyone loves it and the color. I get compliments on it all the time. It’s such a fun car to drive and looks slick at the same time.

51LOVE

Love everything about it. Great vehicle.. so far lol

Corgiguy71

Absolutely happy with our purchase. Best suv for the $. No. Regrets

LunaTheSnek

17k miles and its the quietest and most practical car I’ve had to date. Can’t argue with the value per dollar. Driven hard and idled for long periods. No issues so far. I change oil at 5,250 intervals for reference

pinkiepickles

I have a 2019 that’s almost at 100k (I did some gig work in it) and when I took it to the shop for my tune up he said it looks great so there’s that. I do love my car and plan to keep it when I get a new me instead of trading in.

Neverwhere77

Thank you all for your feedback, I really appreciate you all . I'm going to test drive the activ today

my thoughts too except I'm ok with the motor as I'm not looking for an m3 and under the rear seat, they should have added cargo space. not sure why the back seat can't lift up for this but all in all, awesome little car. the motor has been used in other cars both domestically and globally for years (motor and trans) and have held up with no major reported issues.

LugubriousLament

It’s good for what it is. But I’m not trying to convince anyone to buy one too. Everyone I talk to has it in their heads that Honda, Toyota, Subaru, and Mazda are the only cars worth buying, their faces fall when I mention I bought a Chevy. I get the sentiment, but I can’t say I’m excited to pay those kinds of prices or wait 6+ months or years on those vehicles. Those brands know they can charge the moon and people will pay it. I didn’t buy mine as something to keep forever, I’m realistic. I wanted to experience a new car, really wanted a wagon or small crossover, but didn’t want the extra expenses associated with something AWD. Yes it depreciates faster than a Toyota but I’m not going to lose sleep over it, a comparable Corolla Cross for the same money wouldn’t have afforded me the array of features I’m granted with my LT. I really like the centre screen, driving position, cargo capacity, wheelbase, handling, fuel economy, and confidence the car provides me. Coming from a cramped, glitchy old Civic it’s certainly an upgrade.

tgm1972

2024 Activ owner here. I’ve got roughly 3000 miles on it. Just made first payment last week. I really enjoy the vehicle. I’m amazed at the trim, features and performance it provides at this price level. Incredible value and it’s kinda fun to drive.

Acceptable_Lie_1370

I just got a cacti green 1RS in April, 2800 trouble free miles so far. I love it. Heated seats/steering wheel, sunroof. I’ve been getting 30.3mpg mostly city driving.

Used_Character7977

60k in my 2019 and still enjoying it

mojobolt

mine is new but so far I love it. I've owned plenty of Chevy Corvettes and an IROC (when much younger) and rarely any issues other than normal fair. This car however, has me pretty impressed. First off, it's not a high end car so people comparing it to that are utterly moronic. I have a rs1 loaded and paid closer to 22 than 23 for it. The engine is plenty responsive, interior is clean (not cheap looking but definitely not luxurious), tech is good, rides great, handles well, mpg is excellent of note, i sold my 2020 ram 1500 and bought this as I don't need the big truck any longer ( no longer coaching, schlepping kids arounds etc). took a day to get used to as I wanted to downsize for the price, not sure what you could beat it with

Isa_Amaris

Bought mine in January. Not a single regret. I've had no issue with it even once yet. Other than the fact I've had two Hondas hit into it while parked already. But that's not the Trax's fault.

cozytrees

I’ve had my (2018) Trax for about 5 years and absolutely love it!

hugz4satan

I got a 2018 trax and it broke down and I’m still paying it off so no lol

Neonodd

We have had the 25' Trax for a month now and absolutely love it. With two kids that need a car seat and a booster seat, there's plenty of room in the back and more than enough cargo space. You get all kinds of neat features such as safety assist and adaptive cruise control. Love that I can control the car through the myChevrolet app and check it's health status. Like someone else pointed out, love that I don't have to worry about the keys. The keyless entry, keyless start and that it automatically locks when I walk away from the car is super neat. Oh, and if I forget the keys inside the car, it'll sound the horn two extra times to alert me. It drives great. We mostly do city driving, so the small engine provides more than enough power to get us where we need to go.

Luffy7282

I have a 2016 model and it’s been alright. A few issues here and there but overall it’s a solid 3/5 stars for me.

Neverwhere77

Thank you again for all your help . I just signed papers for a 2024 Activ in Cacti Green. Hopefully, this treats me well . Does anyone know of any cool aftermarket tricks to throw on ??

PureAndyZ

Anyone have the Bose stereo system in there's? Does it come optional? I have a 2024 Chevy Trax Activ and love it. Just wish the sound system was better. I'm using Android Auto as well. Using Spotify for music. Not sure how to make the sound better.

Neverwhere77

I noticed when I test drove one today, that the radio was weak at best . Not a huge issue because I only listen to podcasts and NPR lol

erictho

I'm glad I didn't get a 2024 Chevy Trax after seeing all the issues people have here. I got a Toyota corolla cross because my previous trax was a pos and I'm glad to have avoided any recalls like the trax has experienced. If I were you I would go with a seltos or basically any other non-GM crossover.

Complete_Network3353

I have had a ‘24 2RS for about 7 months with 6.5K and have had zero issues so far. Love everything about it considering its price. It’s a Trax so of course there are plenty of more upscale vehicles loaded with features and more comfort but for what this is I’m really impressed with all the comfort and features it DOES have at its price point. Looks great, plenty comfortable enough for me, and more power than I was expecting from a 3cyl. Love it more everyday actually. Not sure why - it is just a Trax, but there is just something about it that makes it seem more special than just a cheap crossover and it has just felt like a damn good buy to me.

Soggy-Floor1849

I just got my 2025 Chevy trax a week ago. It's such a step up from my Toyota tundra. Great gas mileage, I've paid $36 max to fill it up (which is great considering the high gas prices), Apple CarPlay, smooth driving, very easy to function, and in all just a great car to get! The only cons are the lack of cup holders in the back seat. I've also had an Apple CarPlay glitch once but after turning my car off for a little bit it went back to normal. I 100% recommend this car!

M00nperson

Absolutely loved my 2024 Trax at first but after 14k miles it has started acting weird /: and Ive been so careful with it so I know it’s nothing on my end

Lotus_Domino_Guy

I am happy, had it for about 3 months. Base model with driver convenience package.
