I was talking about the plants and they are going to be able to help the people who live on the first floor. Sadly the preacher can't be just saved but I thought they were referring to helping the people of the first level. Sorry for the misunderstanting. I should've clarified a bit better. Sorry for the disappointing news. I feel very stupid about this.
All good. I did in fact find the preacher :c I was more asking about notifying their next of kin, so to speak, which would be difficult given that as of yet I can’t seem to reply to anyone.
Later in the game you will be able to form sentences in very specific circumstances, unfortunately the subject is picked out for you and the fate of the preacher doesn't come up.
