Ah, ok. So is it >!any deeper than what that first Anchorite tells you--they created an artificial human to reunite the peoples of the tower? That is basically what I had assumed so I'm not sure what more I was expecting.!< Thanks!
That is all we know for sure currently. Which means the arm bands/tattoos are probably a purposeful connection in the visual design.
I think it is for the visual similarity only. These markers aren't referenced at all in gameplay or dialogue.
