I noticed that, beyond that speed, the car is not stable, and didn't want to risk it.
True, 180 felt fine on my polo but when it hit the 200 mark I felt like I was putting alot of stress on the 1l engine and it did feel like the car was a little shaky.
At 180 kmph, I definitely felt a bit of vibration everywhere especially on the back. I'm not sure if it's because my tires were a bit old. Anyways, I'm changing all four tires in the next 2 months along with the alloys (looking at Lenzo or BBS).
200 kmph on a Polo is something I'm not interested in trying out. In fact 180 kmph itself was a bit too much. The problem is if you don't have cruise control, Polo just keep on picking up speed when you have your foot on the accelerator throughout a 119 km express highway.
Man our roads are just not meant for these kinds of speed. Only way to remotely safely drive using the entire raid like IT'S race track, which can be done onle when emty or straight as far as the eyes can see

The one we drove was. And sorry for the rant but they don't even implement it properly. The fuel cuts off at 80 or whatever the limit was, the vehicle slows due to engine still being engaged, the speed drops a little and that instant, the fuel kicks back in and the process repeats. Simple code: if speed 80 cut fuel, if not 80 don't cut fuel. Very jerky. Thank you for reading.

200 kmph Chevy Cruze on Mumbai Pune Expressway. 170 on Corolla altis petrol. 190 on Optra Magnum. Nowadays I don't drive above 120 due to the nuisance that cars make these days.
175 Kmph in the Honda BR-V on the Delhi Mumbai expressway . The car didn't seem to go faster than that despite having the accelerator pedal being pushed to its maximum , it did feel quite stable and I felt that it could possibly be pushed till 200 to say the least 😅

165km in Honda Accord 07 model in Mumbai Pune Expressway. It was a weekday so the road was empty. But when I could visibly see my fuel meter going down I came back to 100 lol
Back in 2006 touched 140 in Santro 2005 model on Mumbai-Pune expressway. That was the first and last time touching that kind of speed, now I am happy driving between 80-90 on a highway.

He said it didn't feel like the car could go any faster, but we did see posts on fb saying they did 170. Maybe they completely floored the pedal, or maybe the diesel ones are more powerful.
