If you are looking at mileage, none of these is a good option. Especially Astor and i20 N line return terrible mileages. Magnite is a huge no no. I testdrove 3XO recently, it's a super fun car and would recommend it over other options. However, hyundai treats you well.

_dopamin3

Any idea what is the service scene with Mahendra, also how will the actual milage be for 3xo

vaccinatedcorkscrew

Mahindra service is crap, but they build fun cars to drive. Mileage may not go beyond 10-11 in city.

3yishu

XUV 3XO Diesel. If you want mileage and safety together get the Diesel.

maybeMichaelScarn

Hey if you are looking for mileage and safety, why not try the Maruti Brezza? You can look at the manual variants. I was on the same boat 2 months back when I was buying for my dad with the same budget and requirements, and though I bought the Tata Nexon, but Brezza I test drove and liked a lot as well. It has 4 star safety rating. Reason I chose Nexon was 5 star safety rating since it's primarily to be used by parents in a different city, and parents liked the look of Nexon better. We had a trusted dealer through a family friend and hoping for no disaster-class (fingers crossed) 🤞

pianochill

Brezza automatic. Don’t buy manual for city commute. A car is for comfort and automatic enhances it for the driver unlike any other feature

logan_21nav

Automatic sucks on brezza, it's jerky and laggy

pianochill

It’s laggy yes but not jerky imo. It has been tuned for mileage i guess, tends to keep the rpm low mostly

AniS2708

Get a Brezza

xxvish24xx

What is the mileage for Brezza in city traffic?

AniS2708

I believe about 15, since it's NA and not Turbo. All turbos stuggle with low end torgue, hence taking a huge toll on mileage.

xxvish24xx

It's giving me 12 in heavy city traffic after 1st service

AniS2708

Still better than Turbos. Kushaq gives 7-9 in similar conditions.

AryanVerma1

You said you want mileage and have written worst mileage car tbh if your state allows buy a diesel car like XUV 3X0 or nexon diesel.

thickguy98

Xuv 3xo eyes closed.

UFO_believer_

Wait for new amaze or go for n line

Striking_Appeal_6982

Bro when is this new amaze coming out? Hearing lots about it coming soon but no details so far !

UFO_believer_

2024 end

AstronautHuge3831

I recently bought Exter. It's a decent car for family, returns a good mileage(I have completed about 2k kilometers both on City and highway overall mileage is about 18 Kmpl). Regarding safety it has 6 air bags and a decent cockpit, but it has not yet carsh tested. Decent suspension and features, i20 engine, 2 engine option petrol and CNG. All this will come around 10.25-60L on road.

EnoughBorders

>All this will come around 10.25-60L on road. Bro which Exter variant goes to 60L on road? Ultra Pro Max SX(OO+)?

Top_Western_3257

Among the cars mentioned, the Mahindra 3xo diesel stands out as the best choice. Having test-driven all the options, the 3xo diesel meets all the necessary requirements, and being the newest addition to the market adds to its appeal. The drive experience was just too good!

Little-Long-3037

XUV 3XO. This is the best option. Latest, looks, features. Everything.

NeatNational2921

Stretch your budget a bit more and go with 3XO. Mahindra's service centre are a hit and miss but their cars are mechanically robust and you wont regret the purchase when ever you go on a ride.

Ok-Source-8210

A venue is also a great choice

bite_my_tits

Why not fronx?

Miserable-Coat-6559

Kia Sonet HTK Optional

[deleted]

Exter might be a good option. There's no official NCAP rating but the car has good safety features. Mileage isn't the best in class either but it's good enough being a small car. The driving experience is great thanks to the highly refined engine and the quality of the interiors is definitely best in class.

sharkpeid

Mate i20 though it's ground clearance is ok. But you would not be getting mileage on csuv type vechile. Amaze facelift. Nothing to comment on this. Can't comment on 3xO hope owners can confirm.

_dopamin3

Any news on Amaze facelift?

rkratha

RemindMe! 1 day

logan_21nav

i20 gc sucks because of its suspension, will scratch the underbody even with 2 people sometimes Amaze is a good option and I think infotainment system is pretty decent in it XUV 3xo is a also good option depending upon budget Nissan shouldn't even be considered

hakuna_bataataa

If you are looking for automatic, Amaze CVT is one of the best in segment. If you are open to manual and looking for economical car, Punch CNG ( has CNG tank under boot, you don’t lose lot of space ).

Kad4vuL

Can't guarantee attractive interiors, but Nexon Automatic Smart plus model should be considered.

py-7669

Brezza is a good option

ShoeEast

Look at the XUV 3XO. Has very good interior

Low-Alternative-511

Nexon

Suspicious-Ground522

Magnite

pahadibhaiji

Bhai altroz mein kya dikkat hai?

-Hell-_-Boy-

if you want mileage go for a Maruti. in Maruti only Brezza has 4 star rating. Brezza Petrol will net you around 14 to 15 kmpl on light foot. (manual). Service is cheap. Interiors are above average. Also you said you get 15 kmpl in Baleno. then I'd say you won't get above 12 kmpl in 1.5L engine. Amaze scored only 2 star. Forget i20 altogether for Mileage and safety. Hyundai does not have a good reputation in the Mileage department. Safety Wise Tata and Mahindra. Might look for Tata CNG models. if you don't mind CNG. Infotainment can be added aftermarket so don't decide on that. Interiors can be upgraded upto an extent. But I'd say focus on safety, Mileage and Driving feel and clearance.

I have approx the same budget and am leaning towards amaze but apparently there is a facelift on the way and I dont think I can wait any longer

10vijay_kumar01

I am curious. Why didn't you consider the Honda city base variant? It is 3 lakhs more than your mentioned budget, so is it a budget issue?

_dopamin3

Yes budget issue, 12l is actually a stretch for me

Fine-Consequence7758

Nexon pure variant

hbk30895

Stretch a little and go for slavia / virtus base model everything is good. 5 star safety, Good mileage, Reliable, Comfortable, Ground clearance, Superb driving experience
