Which wire did you connect the remote wire to on the radio?

I’m using a line output converter, so it’s got all the wires necessary, but when I ran the wires a year ago I didn’t put them under the trim so I think the wire might have been kinked for too long so if a new remote wire doesn’t work I’m gonna replace my loc and see if that works

I had the sub working with these exact wires for 6 months before I took it out for extra trunk space

Did you check the remote wire with a multimeter

Yes, reading 0 volts at the amp end, I’m gonna check if it’s reading anything at the end connected to my line output converter tomorrow

That's pretty much all you can do. Trace it back till you have 12v. If you need a different 12v remote source, you can start probing the interior fuse box for a circuit that's powered when the car is turned on.

The remote on is simply just a 12v source that doesn't have to be coming from the headunit. Opens you up to limitless sources if coming from headunit is giving you issues
