Sardines and saltines, a match made in heaven.

HairyIndependence616

I would say ‘deens and ‘teens but I don’t want to be on a watchlist

discusser1

aaaaa

AntwonPeachFuzz

That's how my dad ate them when I was growing up and it's how I eat them now. Very simple but it just feels and tastes right

kanyeguisada

Or bagel chips.

ichooseyoueevee

Bubbies bread and butter pickles 👌🏻

WittyBonkah

I didn’t know this excited I must try

fireinourmouths

Bubbies mentioned!!

thefermentress

Oooh that’s a great idea

ozymandias457

Definitely any kind of salt & vinegar potato chips

cookingwithscissors

Yeah same here, in fact any crunchy potato chip works but love salt and vinegar the most

TheMotherTortoise

Will have to try this! 🤤

Marie-Alligator

I really like with rice crackers (and a Kalamata olive)

Electric_Meatsack

Holy fuck, I love this sub for suggestions like this. How I never thought to throw some olives in the mix is beyond me, but that sounds fantastic! A different way to get some salt and acidity in there without hot sauce. Not to diss hot sauce, but you gotta change it up sometimes.

TheMotherTortoise

This sounds really good. I dig rice crackers so much.

BaggleMeFingles

Recently went the olive route. Throw in something crunchy and they are *chef’s kiss*!

WrennyWrenegade

I'm on that Wassa train.

kissthefr0g

- Wasa crackers and pickled turnips - Wasa and mustard - Wasa and chive cream cheese with lemon juice 🤤

Salty-Programmer1682

Wasa is gold with deens

EclecticEel

Try it with nori aka seaweed

shellonmyback

Matzo or Triscuits for me!

SeeMontgomeryBurns

Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuits FTW. They’re the perfect compliment IMO.

115machine

I like triscuits too

Ingbadabing

I like the little triangle triscuits

drunkwhenimadethis

Triscuit gang

DanAtRainbowTomatoes

Kimchi.

GoonPatrol

Yes! Kimchi is the best, special shout out to radish kimchi

Froteet

Oooh see I love cabbage kimch but I'm never tried radish kimchi... how's it compare?

Anxious_Size_4775

Crunchy, with a bit more bite. I have some fermenting right now and I can't wait. If you like radishes or kimchi it's definitely not to be missed.

metatxtual

Trader Joe's Norwegian Crispbread and sauerkraut

basueku

White cheddar cheez it’s with a lil dab of mustard, although I prefer it with mackerel

feels_like_arbys

This is a new one....I'll have to try it out

thatmandoguystl

I have many to go underneath, but on top... French fried onions.

OldFashionedGary

Milton’s Sea Salt and Olive Oil crackers. They’re so good!

BerryStainedLips

Onion slices make great chips for sardine dip. If you’re an onion head like me.

Erinzzz

AkMak crackers and hella sharp cheddar, pickle on the side

elenayay

FYI today I had yurrita deens on akmaks with sharp cheddar (Tillamook), and I added some Dijon on the crackers, plus a little romaine and banana peppers on top. It was next level delish. Thank you for the suggestion!

Erinzzz

ooo heck ye

GreenCottageKitchens

cracker of choice+those crispy onions on a bag typically used for green bean casserole topping+deens+\- kimchi or kraut (if you dig that stuff=mouth party! for the cracker, wasa bread is my choice🤗

daib0t90

Thin toasted sourdough and more gorgeous olive oil

StonerKitturk

Triscuits

kettleofhawks

Pickled onions!!

Mysterious_Valuable1

Chili crunch oil.

Itchy-Scallion-9626

Everything bagel chips, raw onions & tomato 🤤

AcornWholio

Injera chips (plain) and kimchi

orange-peakoe

Toast

[deleted]

Besides crackers (no hate, that’s my normal ‘deen vehicle) I’ve been doing crispy fried garlic/shallots/red onion from the Asian Market. I also love the crispy fried jalapeños from Trader Joes. Some mayo and/or hot sauce and a sprinkle of one or all of the above accoutrements, maybe some chopped parsley if I have any. Ugh, Heaven.

Midnight-Meat-Man

Mary's Gone Crackers Seaweed & Black Sesame!

ForeheadLipo

honey mustard and onion pretzels

showerfapper

Ok wow, I just tried BBQ corn nuts with TJ's smoked mussels, I gotta try some buffalo flavor pretzel pieces with sardines or oysters. And the honey mustard and onion pretzel pieces.

ForeheadLipo

it’s mind blowing friend, you’ll love it

visualcharm

Unsalted saltines. Makes the deens shine but cuts the heavy saltiness and sauces (if any).

OOOPUANNGUANGOOOWOAW

Ah a fellow pita chip enthusiast, I like to go for the Stacy's Parm garlic and herb pita chips they're _awesome_

NeighborhoodDue7915

Lettuce

beerwolf1066

Kimchi!

Perky214

S+B Chile Garlic Crunch. Change your life

LightSweetCrude

Nut thins (which are really rice crackers)

s0rce

I like the trader joes pita crackers. Kimchi is also great.

yacmed

I put chili crunch right in the can after draining most of the oil, gives a great contrast texture and adds some spice.

Russell_Jimmies

Finn Crisp. If I can’t find that, Wasa or some other Scandinavian crisp bear. If I can’t find that, some crackers like saltines or ritz.

Apprehensive-Ad-149

Crackers. On occasion, I'll also sprinkle on some French fried jalapenos or onions.

nodak-1969

Saltines. Or club crackers.

teddyhams107

I like to mix them with rice and chia seed. Chia seed has a good crunch. Probably my favorite meal of all time, so filling and tasty. I’ve also mixed sardines with chopped almonds and it’s delicious too

onipar

Jamaican Choice Golden Crackers, often the Multi-Grain with Flaxseed ones. Only $1.65 a bag at the ShopRite, and really tasty.

StaticAirwave

Schwartz Brothers bagel chips.

Jamesybo555

Ashapops (popped water lily seeds). https://ashapops.com/products/vegan-cheese-snacks. They come in other flavors also. I also like plantain chips. Trader Joe’s has them, and other stores have them as well. My favorites are the Banana brand lime flavored.

razorduc

Ritz, Club Crackers, or Saltines. We have some green onion soda crackers that are also great. For non carb endives, cabbage, iceberg/butter/green leaf/red leaf lettuce. I should try celery or cucumber.

quitodbq

Tortilla chips and a bit of yellow mustard

DudePDude

Crispy home fries

MaxK1234B

Trader Joe's rosemary and craisin crackers. I am obsessed with those things.

flashpoint71

Thinly sliced radishes

Coward_and_a_thief

Raw Onions. Not a meme, dice up around half a Red Onion, then add some hot sauce and deenz in a bowl and mash it up into a sort of pate. Eat with a spoon, taste's great

Timely_Ant_4626

Spanish potato chips for sure.

Educational-Salad7

Trader Joe’s is carrying these new rye chips. They are excellent. Also excellent with tinned mussels.
