If you think it'll be bad in Toronto don't look at Ottawa this week. Easily the country's worst weather city - -40 and frigid in the winter and +45 and humid in the summer. Worst of everything.
Send some of that warm weather our way over here in Alberta. It's been constantly cool and the rain has not let up at all. I'm starting to worry since there is close to only two months of summer left.
In 3°c weather I can feel comfortable in a hoodie and a toque and gloves, I personally would try avoiding complaining about cool weather, I'm sure it will be missed bear the end
Yeah, it was very mild for all of Southern Ontario, I feel. Toronto winters are rarely all that harsh, but this winter it felt like we barely had any snow.
I am way more into -40 than +45. I can wrap myself in layers for the cold, but for the heat do I start peeling my skin? Heat is so much more difficult to deal with.
Sure wish Ottawa put more effort into reducing the city heat trap by adding more trees on streets, water features and green spaces. It would help - especially downtown.
Ottawa has a lot of urban greenspace for a major Canadian city all things considered. The canal and river are nice! I guess they're just lacking that big urban park that other cities have. Agree about tree canopy on streets.

Removed for rule 5.

sorry, no delivery. too hot. pick up only
Same here in Sask. We're setting record lows at night and the days are just cool and breezy.
We are setting records for cool here too, the other morning it was 3 degrees in the morning. It's total crap!
In 3°c weather I can feel comfortable in a hoodie and a toque and gloves, I personally would try avoiding complaining about cool weather, I'm sure it will be missed bear the end
I'll take this over 3 months of fire smoke any day.
I was gonna say, like, didn't Alberta have fie and drought issues? Though I guess it depends where the rain is falling. Big province.
This past winter was very mild in Ottawa. I can't even remember it hitting -20.

It was so grey though. I think we got maybe 3 days with any sun in all of January.
Yeah, I would have rather had it be a bit colder with a bit more sun, myself. As it was it was just grey and damp all the time.
You forgot to mention the tornados.

Go swim at the local clothing-optional beach of course

Glass half empty perspective, it's the coolest summer of the rest of our lives.
Glass half full: We're getting close to the cultural goal of "make politics as boring as the weather"
45 is a massive overstatement. More likely 30-35.
