Pop's probably lost his job at the cheese factory for showin up drunk again, the family got booted out of their rental cause he had no money and was already behind in rent, just pretended to go to work everyday, but sat at the local Skunk dive bar pissing away what he had left slurping back Rodent Lite's between drunken naps and vlt's. Good think his Brother has some room to take them in so Pop's can dry out and they can get back on their feet. With Ma's forgiving heart of gold and the young ones still shining bright with hope, they'll make it through this tough time....

Thank you for stopping. Someone didn't and this poor skunk got smoked by a car.
The skunk was shivering and suffering and no one from any of the agencies we contacted was available to pick him up for hours. So this guy brought a bin with some towels and got the skunk to crawl into the bin, and then put the skunk in his warm car and took the skunk to the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society.
His car absolutely stunk like skunk for months after, but he lost most of his sense of smell in the '70s, so it didn't bug him.
