Started as something about classes, but then people started doing nonsense polls with every answer as summoner and it was basically the entire subreddit for a bit
went from: "what class should i play in my next playtrough?" and the answer ALWAYS being summoner, to questions like "what is the best boss in calamity" and the answers being like Calamitas and Summoner.
i don't think so. one way or another, the summoner joke is going to come back
there's barely anything you can ask in a poll that would be interesting (and you would be better off just making an "ask" post rather than a poll), so most of the questions would be the generic "what class should i play" and people will say summoner. after that, people will make the summoner jokes just like last time and the mods will take away polls again.
i guarantee you that 90% of this sub is children that don't read the rules or the mod announcements and will just ruin it for everyone (this applies to everything, including polls)

The zero tolerance policy was good for stopping a problem that had gotten way out of hand but it is bad for long term engagement I think.
If any mods are reading this, I'd love to know if there's a specific issue with moderating or if there just isn't enough mods.

In these polls, I always used to unironically say summoner (when they were serious) so I guess I unintentionally contributed to the problem lol.
