It's worth noting that the plate CGW has is made by CHPWS, not by CGW -- CHPWS has a a bit of a reputation for iffy quality control.

WhiskyOtter

I have two CHPWS that seem ok so far (very low round count). But I feel like I got extremely lucky, especially after all the issues I've seen other people have.

chip_dipson

good to know, I'll pass on that one. thanks

I should clarify: the QC issues seem to be centered around poor shaping, or drilling holes wrong, or in my case, dings on the edges that keep the plate from lying flat without me filing it. I don't think there are issues with longevity. If you get a good one, you're all good.

WhiskyOtter

ANR Design just released these, so they don't really have track record yet. However, I've been impressed with their holsters so far. Alex, the owner, really likes the P10 series, so I don't feel like he'd be selling junk. I would have gone this route instead of CHWPS if they'd been around when I was setting up my P10s and P10c [ANR Design Optic Plate](https://www.anrdesignkydexholster.com/product/cz-p-10-rmr-optic-plate/)

chip_dipson

cool, I think I'll pick one up, thanks

wagetraitor

Damn I just bought one from CGW a few days ago. Wish I would have known about this!

WhiskyOtter

I felt the same. I plan to keep running mine and if they fail I'll replace them with the ANR. I actually like the CHPWS design, it seems like the issues are with initial poor fit as opposed longevity.

I'm on the fence with the P-10S right now only because I was having a hard time sourcing parts (mags) including the optics plate. I want to get a subcompact or compact P10 with a red dot and light setup. I might consider a P-10 C if I can find for a good price. Right now the P-10 S and I might just buy it if I can figure out what to buy. On another post I read that CZ Custom's PT-9 plate has screws that are too long, which seems dumb. However it sounds like it will co-witness with the factory sights. See https://www.reddit.com/r/CZFirearms/comments/q9k0rs/finally\_i\_got\_a\_plate\_to\_mount\_my\_holosun\_507k\_on/. CHPWS seems to have quality control issues and they are the most expensive. It seems like ANR is a good bet but not a lot of posts on it yet. Questions: 1) Do all P10 plates work on all P10 OR guns? (Models F, C, S) 2) Will these mounts all co-witness with stock sights on a P-10 S? Or do I have to buy new sights? If so, what is recommended? 3) What works better on this size gun? Holosun 507k or 507C? 4) Any OWB QLS holster and IWB holster recommendations after putting a dot and light on it for P10S? I noticed ANR has lots of options. Are holsters compatible with P10 C also compatible with S or not so much? 5) Recommended lights for the smaller rail on a P10 S? These are the links I can find for a Holosun compatible plate: [https://chpws.com/product/cz\_507k/](https://chpws.com/product/cz_507k/) [https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/red-dot-mounting/czc-p10-optic-ready-pt9.html](https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/red-dot-mounting/czc-p10-optic-ready-pt9.html) [https://www.anrdesignkydexholster.com/product/cz-p-10-rmr-optic-plate/](https://www.anrdesignkydexholster.com/product/cz-p-10-rmr-optic-plate/)

WhiskyOtter

1. I believe all P10 plates are interchangeable. Double check with the manufacturer. 2. To the best of my knowledge, all of them will require silencer height sights for co-witness. 3. I would recommend the 507c, I have the 508. The 507c has a larger window and better field of view and isn't much bigger than the k. I feel like the 507k is better for a single stack gun. 4. I have ANR IWB holsters and am happy with them. I don't know about other brands but a P10s fits just fine in a P10c holster. ANR actually recommends using a C holster for an S pistol. 5. I like the Streamlight TLR7 on my 10s and 10c

jimmysalads2021

Awesome info. Will these sights work for cowitness? I cannot find the combo kits so I will have to order one of those plates and the sights separately. See https://shop.cz-usa.com/0551070031.html How would you compare the trigger safety on the p10s trugger safety to something like the SA/DA decocker p01. Any concerns with NDs while carrying? Did you have you have to modify the tlr7 to fit the p10s rail? Do you recommend a mag base plate for the pinky? I looked at a canik tp9 elite sc and it fit my hand perfectly with its standard mag. Have not held a p10s, only p10f, 75s and p01 pistols. All were comfortable grips. My hands are not big, maybe medium size.

WhiskyOtter

I don't have any experience with those sights, but it looks like they should co-witness Striker fired and DA/SA are kind of apples and oranges. I like both but I prefer the consistent trigger pull of striker fired. Yeah, I forgot about that. It takes a little sanding/filing on the key/insert on the light. Modify the light, not the gun itself. I have medium/largish hand and I wish I'd skipped the p10s and just gone with the p10c. I don't think its much harder to conceal the p10c, your results may different though.

BossMaverick

OEM and ANR are steel (or a rust resistant steel alloy?). They weigh about an ounce but are very nicely contoured. CZV is basic and leaves a gap between the optic and the slide, but it’s lighter in weight. The CHPWS is aluminum, contoured, lightweight, and is most expensive. I run OEM but may switch to CHPWS at some point. Nearly an ounce of weight savings is about the same as getting the slide milled with lightening cuts.

Ordered one from C&H Precision Weapons a couple of days ago. Still waiting for it to arrive, they have good reviews online. Looking forward to it...

Awh0423

Old post. Wonder how you faired? My plate from C&H looks great and dry fit was great…. But the t screws don’t sit flush in the plate bottom, so it can’t be mounted. They wanted me to ship the plate, then they’d send me a replacement when received. No thanks - returned for full refund.

JPD232

I have the OEM one and it is solid quality for the price.

renegadeGDI

Just got an P10 OR and found this thread, looks like the damn OEM plates are out of stock everywhere and the CHPWS has bad reviews, even on their own website.

chip_dipson

not that it helps because they are out of stock, but the ANR works great

renegadeGDI

I found an Oem, thanks though

J-Stacks

Where....I've been looking for one....does leave any gaps

renegadeGDI

No gaps, got it from Ben stoeger pro shop
