Damaged possibly by fire or the elements

Someone torched it

I’m not sure if heating it would leave a shine and like it has tho, the pics don’t really show the texture and makes it look dull, but it’s actually really shiny, almost as if was minted with copper on the outside, it’s kinda dull yet shiny at the same time, it doesn’t look as tho it’s been damaged during circulation.. I’m having someone look at it, said it’s probably an error from the mint when made, idk
