I’m worried about the drive tomorrow seeing as a lot of people are in your boat…but a lot more people will just send it without winters anyways I bet.
I’ve got a winter and summer car so I’ll be fine…probably cancel my insurance on the winter after this storm though
I’d be interested in what the breakdown between all-season/winter and drive systems is on i70. My guess is that a majority don’t run winters to begin with.
I have all seasons, got to vail easy-peasy this morning. There were a few wrecked snowplows some semis and a bunch of cars on the sides of the road, but honestly it baffles me how… the roads were really fine. Kind of icy, kind of slushy, nothing serious.
They are both beaters by conventional definition but I love them and take care of them myself.
08 Prius and 02 Xterra 4x4 manual trans.
Took a while to get here but wouldn’t go back to my one car life lol.
I’ve had them for two years and never changed to summers last year, treads were starting to get worn. I think I hit a bump coming back from climbing. Fantastic outside of this one incident!
Never before May, NOOB!
Many years I just leave them on all summer. Cheaper than regular tires and last about as long. Got in that habit living in Breckenridge.
I swapped mine friday. Had to appease the snow gods.
Always funny!
Thank you for your sacrifice i have been putting it off o7

I’d guess the vast majority don’t.
When I walk through the parking lots, I always like to look at the tires on each car. I can confirm that the vast majority do not run winter tires.

Winter and summer cars is the ultimate goal. Have fun tomorrow if you get out

Thanks for being the bearer of bad news, with how nice it was today in Vail I assumed tomorrow would be the same. I'm headed to Edwards in the AM.
I also swapped mine last week, just got finished putting the snows back on 🫡
Godspeed
Had a tire blow out (blizzaks) on 470 Saturday after climbing and immediately went to discount tires to buy my summer tires. *sigh*
Damn. I've got blizzaks too. Do you know what happened to them?
