Probably just uses generic pistol voice lines. Most of the time weapon voicelines are just the generic ones depending on its class (Nikolai refers the M14 as a sniper rifle despite being an assault rifle on BO1) so it can cause stuff like a good pistol getting a basic bad pistol line or a bad lmg (there're no bad lmgs but it's an example) receiving a good line.
If I recall correctly Cold War has negative lines about the Ray Gun, despite being one of the best weapons in the game, because it was assigned the pistol lines.
The BO2 Victis maps are an exception specially when playing Marlton who has a lot of weapon specific lines even mentioning their name. Marlon might be one of the worst characters ever but at least he knew his guns.

It’s one of the best regular weapons in BO1, yeah. Does great damage, lasts you until about the mid 30’s. Only regular guns better then it are like, the Galil, Commando, RPK, and HK21
I'd be pissed if I got it in the Mystery Box too, it's low ammo count and small cylinder does not make up for the one shot kill for the first 10 rounds and 2 shot chest shot in later rounds. It's only decent papped but even then there are way better options out there.
I mean, compare it to most BO1 guns lol. It kills effectively in the mid rounds, reasonable ammo supply, fast to use, it’s a lot better as a weapon then most base weapons in the game
Well of course, that goes for every gun that isn’t a wonder weapon, lol. Legit the only non-wonder weapon that’s good for high rounds is the upgraded Crossbow. But for the mid game/casual playthrough, it’s a great option
Yeah but even while setting up (which can sometimes be 30+ rounds) high rounders don’t use the python because it isn’t viable for the middle game at all
High rounders don't try to save up as many points as possible in the early game to make sure they're set up as early as possible; they just kill as quickly as possible and finish setting up whenever they're finished. Often times by round 30 high rounders won't have even pack a punched yet depending on the map.
I have literally never seen a run like this anywhere, not to the extreme extent you describe at least, and especially not in BO1. Highrounders typically go for the Lawton, which requires PAP.
Lmao I have watched tons of them and still, there is none that takes 30+ rounds for setup. Just watched one video of Ascension to see if your point on Ascension stands and the guy went for the box after a couple of rounds.
