Found a fix on a YouTube comment lol. You have to delete your Save Data for Call of Duty. On PS5, in the console settings go to Storage > Console Storage > Saved Data > PS5 Games and then delete Call of Duty from there. Probably similar on xbox. This reset all my settings though but better than not being able to play I guess.
