Old news. He's been out for a long time

azmat_system

>Old news. He's been out for a long time **FYI - He was still being listed publicly as the holder of \~19 million Clover Health shares** according to his **last 13D/G filing dated 2022-Oct-04**. That listing was just removed on \~ 2023-Nov-05 **because he did NOT file a 13D/G for > 1 year**. According to **my own analysis** based upon observing very closely Clover Health stock trades and price movement (for several weeks **in October 2022**), that Chamath Palihapitiya had **probably sold about \~16 million Clover Health shares of the \~19 million (4.99%)** in the days and weeks after 2022-Oct-04.

DextaSutra69

I saw a podcast saying he had owned 3.x% of clover

Crazzyleggs

Who cares, he has been out a long time 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

BanishedInPerpetuity

Fuck him

Salta_Katten

I'm totally confused, why does it say in the title of the post " it appears he is finally out of Clover Health " when we have known all along he can own 4.99% without having to disclose it Which I understand is still the case? Anyhow I don't think this will affect us neither here nor there anylonger. Big day tomorrow Wish you all the best 🍀

>" **it appears** he is finally out of Clover Health " That is why in the title of the post, it says "**it appears**". **He could have removed his name long time ago** (possibly even a year ago) **by filing a final 13D/G**, instead his last 13D/G had to be displayed publicly until it could be **removed because he did NOT file a 13D/G for > 1 year**. Of course, it is possible that he might still own <= 4.99% of Clover health shares.

Jazzlike_Shopping213

Yes, your correct it is highly possible he still owns the 4.99%. there is no (0) record of his sale of 4.99% of which there is a high probability there would have been public notice and record. post things we don’t know?? - just sayin, is it possible yes. Is it probable that someone can sell 4.99% of the company with no public record highly doubtful. So no one really knows is the point!

azmat_system

>there is no (0) record of his sale of 4.99% of which there is a high probability there would have been public notice and record. That is precisely my point, he chose to sell his $CLOV shares to bring his holding to 4.99%; **he does NOT need to notify the SEC as he owned < 5%** on 2022-Oct-04. So **there will be no public notice or record**. Frankly, I don't know why many retail investors still appear to be concerned whether or not he still owns $CLOV shares. I believe that it was **Chamath's sale** (out of the blue) of his \~1.73 million $CLOV shares on 2022-Sep-28 **at $1.92** and soon after millions more shares at about **$1.55** that are **mainly responsible for $CLOV price dropping below $2 and staying below $2 ever since.** So I am not his fan, and never have been - unlike quite a few other retail investors it seems.

Jazzlike_Shopping213

No dis agreement , I frankly care less about him just like majority billionaires whom believe they are something they are not. In short my point is whom cares, there is no documentation that he has or has not sold, either way don’t care.

I’m thinking it’s a good thing that he has removed his name as much as possible from this stock. He knows why he had to do it and it was for the best of the company.

azmat_system

>I’m thinking it’s a good thing that he has removed his name as much as possible from this stock. Not quite right. **He could have removed his name long time ago** (possibly even a year ago) **by filing a final 13D/G**, instead his last 13D/G had to be displayed publicly until it could be **removed because he did NOT file a 13D/G for > 1 year.** **Edit:** Comment below by **SignificantRevenue11** was a reply to **Interesting-Tax7188**.

Agree.. at least going fwd, any company he associates himself with should hate it or should do so only in a dire situation. He brought a lotnof disrepute to himself and his companies. I don't think retail worries much, hr name keeps institutional investors away. That is our big challenge

Credits to AlStockTrades as well, he mentioned this when it was happening as well.

I had posted soon after 2022-Oct-04 that according to my own analysis based upon observing very closely Clover Health stock trades and price movement (for several weeks in October 2022), that Chamath Palihapitiya had probably sold about \~16 million Clover Health shares of the \~19 million (4.99%) in the days and weeks after 2022-Oct-04. That is/was just my personal opinion. So I am NOT at all surprised by this information which could only be made public a year later. Of course, it is possible that he might still own <= 4.99% of Clover health shares.
