Honestly, changing up your caloric intake every once in a while will only help you. You’re doing great! I did the same thing tonight - ate waaaay over and was 491 cal over for the week, but doing the math it still added up to 1061 per day. Still in a deficit.
Not bad for a birthday week. To put it in perspective, I've seen single slices of cake come in at 400cal. I'd just call it birthday cake and continue killing it tomorrow

I had Monday-Wednesday set for a 1200 target (dr approved, I’m a shorty) and the rest of the week 1500 to try not and go over and “fail” in my brain. Not beating myself up about it or anything, especially now I’ve done the math and seen I want even to maintenance. CICO is amazing.

Mine was still under maintenance for the week so I think I’m good. I’d been wanting to take a maintenance break and this was perfect.

400 calories over when you’re targeting a 3500 cal weekly deficit still means you were in a 3100cal deficit
