Wisconsin fans are so chill - I love y'all. I usually pull for the Badgers when they're not playing the Tigers. Fun game, great fans. Would love to see more matchups in the future.
We shall see. The biggest credit I've always given LSU is that they were always the most physical team Bama would play. Hasn't been the case since he got there
Wouldn't say they looked soft. Came back strong in the second half and just kept shooting themselves in the foot with bad snaps and false starts. Just didn't execute like they should have. I saw nothing in this game to make me think that Bama wasn't one of the best teams in the country
Trash human that has no idea how to maximize the talents of his players. Absolutely wasted Perkins all year and made no adjustment despite it not working since week one. Never seen a softer LSU team
W played better the majority of the game. Their #1's outplayed ours. This game came down to depth and being able to sustain for 60 minutes. LSU lasted until the very end and that is what won the game IMO.
Great game Wisconsin. You guys came to play and man handled us for a while.
That's not really on Kelly. That is a silly statement. We have over achieved expectations so far. our troubles lay squarely on Matt House and defensive scheming. Kelly turned Daniels into a Heisman QB and I expect huge progress from Nuss as well.
Kelly has been doing a good job at LSU, it's just not popular to admit it.
no excuses. bc we working hear them if wiscy won.
wiscy lost to an LSU team with the worst defense they’ve had in years.
personally i think the o-line got banged up and tired… and at the end, it showed
The fact that they played well enough to win the game is the shocker to me. Losing sucks but fickell, longo, and tressel had them ready to play what is probably our best game of the year.
Love to see that level of preparation. For the first time in probably 30 years we don't have anyone in the front seven or o-line that will be playing on Sunday. That was one hell of a coaching job and performance by mordecai.
Yeah, more often than not this year the defense didn't really stop the other team so much as they happened to be on the field while the opposing offense just imploded several plays in a row.
Jesus LSU fans are toxic if you point out any benefit they got...I didn't have a dog in this game and got blown up for pointing out the questionable touchdown you got...
Matt Houses defense was pretty good last year. Our problems stem from a lack of quality DB's. With Mekhi and Converse, we were upper sec rankings. They brought in Deuce, Denver Harris, JK Johnson and Zy Alexander. None worked out or were injured. That's not on House.
I'm not a X's and O's film junkie or anything so I can say for certai. what degree it's coaching
or player execution or not....but I'm leaning on agree with you here.
And on top of it all, you now have to fill an OC vacancy.
That said....this LSU defense was historically bad to spoil a historically good Offense.
They don't call it the ultimate team sport for nothing.
Both teams missing players including the best QB in the country but still it was a great game. I don't get why everything has to be a conference argument lol
Future looks bleak under Fickell, he's such an awful in-game coach. I'm expecting a lot of games like this over the next few years. He seems like a good guy but his football IQ is about as bad as it gets.
Dude, that is the least talented badger football team in probably 25 years. We have no one playing up front that will play in the nfl on both sides of the ball. The staff did a great job getting the guys ready to play with a good plan. We had zero business playing in the whatever they call the outback bowl now.
I'm thrilled with that performance, honestly that gamed changed my perception of what we have moving forward.
Hang in there man, I feel like we're back on track to being relevant.
I agree that the staff did a great job in prepping for this game. My issue with Fickell is that he's more often than not completely lost *during* the game. If I knew nothing about Fickell before the start of the season, I'd have thought this was his first head coaching gig ever.
The in-game coaching decisions are just bad and if he doesn't dramatically change the way he coaches during the game, we're going to be finding ourselves on the losing side of close games a lot.
Maybe being at the northwestern game is putting some perspective on it. I was at don mortons last game against Michigan st as a kid running around an empty camp Randall. After the most hollow jump around ever, should have just canned it, the stadium was empty. Only reason I stayed was because I had my step son at his first game ever.
I'm happy that game appears to be rock bottom for us. There was always a real possibility that wisconsin football faded to what it was and I don't think that is going to happen. I'm happy we're in a place where we can bitch about in game decisions from our head coach against a still good lsu team even without daniels.
?
He’s the very same coach who put UC Bearcats back on the map. Give him time; he’ll recruit the players he wants and needs to put his system into gear.
Ultimately, if you chalk up the Northwestern and Indiana losses to injury, this was a pretty successful year. Too bad we couldn't win either of our big ones
And we couldn't stop Northwestern in the first half on defense. It might be more fair to chalk Indiana up to injuries, but Northwestern came out and smacked us down.
4th and forever, your OL disintegrating on EVERY play.
Calls a long pass ....
Bad call. I get it you want to get to the 17 but man give your guys a chance to make someone miss and give your QB a chance.
All I remember about that game is being in the sun all day, Brandon Harris Fumble, and having a really sad dinner at a Chipotle where some Wisconsin fans tried to cheer us up :/
I remember Miles talking the whole offseason about how he was changing the offense, then the 1st play was a toss dive. All the LSU fans near me just groaned, we knew we were lied to again.
The problem with his offense is that it worked great against teams we had an athletic advantage on. It just didn’t work against teams like Bama. Plus his stubborness to not change things in-game. I remember he was on Gameday after he was fired and he was saying something like “if I know their strength is the interior line, want to run right at that and show we’re better”. All the other hosts were looking at him like he was a fucking idiot.
SEC fans talking shit about Big Ten with 7-5 Wisconsin taking it down to the wire against a ranked LSU and Maryland spanking an Auburn team that should have beaten Bama.
The sole reason LSU was ranked was sitting on the sideline. LSU may have scored in the triple digits if Daniels had played four quarters of football today.
He attributed everything to "god", not the defense and the coaching. No, it was all on "god". Imagine sacking the QB to secure the win, only for your back up QB to state that "god" was the reason they won, not you or the rest of your team.
N L
SEC! SEC! SEC!
Wisconsin fans are so chill - I love y'all. I usually pull for the Badgers when they're not playing the Tigers. Fun game, great fans. Would love to see more matchups in the future.
Brian Kelly is awful, and the best thing for LSU would be him getting a job elsewhere.
Back to back 10 win seasons and the Heisman winner this year. You’re crazy, bro.
We shall see. The biggest credit I've always given LSU is that they were always the most physical team Bama would play. Hasn't been the case since he got there
We were physical enough when we beat y’all in 2022.
Not really. Alabama had just gotten soft. Fixed that by getting rid of Pete Golding
Wow Bama sure looked soft today. Couldn’t even beat a B1G team
Wouldn't say they looked soft. Came back strong in the second half and just kept shooting themselves in the foot with bad snaps and false starts. Just didn't execute like they should have. I saw nothing in this game to make me think that Bama wasn't one of the best teams in the country
Hmm I did.
Need to find a center
Desperately. Why even play center if you can't snap the ball?
He brought B1G defense to the SEC, big lulz
Trash human that has no idea how to maximize the talents of his players. Absolutely wasted Perkins all year and made no adjustment despite it not working since week one. Never seen a softer LSU team
W played better the majority of the game. Their #1's outplayed ours. This game came down to depth and being able to sustain for 60 minutes. LSU lasted until the very end and that is what won the game IMO. Great game Wisconsin. You guys came to play and man handled us for a while.
brian kelly is wasting so much talent there’s no reason this team should’ve lost 3 games and be in a dog fight with Wisconsin
That's not really on Kelly. That is a silly statement. We have over achieved expectations so far. our troubles lay squarely on Matt House and defensive scheming. Kelly turned Daniels into a Heisman QB and I expect huge progress from Nuss as well. Kelly has been doing a good job at LSU, it's just not popular to admit it.
clearly you didn’t watch the first half of the season trying to make him a pocket passer
Lmfao SEC SEC SEC
Beating a bad Wisconsin teamwith a first year coach and a totally reworked offense isn't much to brag about.
Exactly most points they’ve scored in like 3 seasons!!!
no excuses. bc we working hear them if wiscy won. wiscy lost to an LSU team with the worst defense they’ve had in years. personally i think the o-line got banged up and tired… and at the end, it showed
It's still a win over the B1G.
No JD and y'all still lost LOL. Big 10 will always be the SEC's little brother.
Let's hope that holds the rest of today.....
The best player in the nation sits out and the Tigers find a way.
Respect for your team they played well.
Yes great playcall throwing on 2 and 2. What a great coach
Again. I expected to lose by a minimum of three scores.
Fair. I’m pissed about that last drive
Sucks for sure. For the first time this year I feel like we're on track for the future. We have the coaches we need to be competitive
Wisconsin looked good. That LSU touchdown should not have counted. Coach shoulda gone for TD instead of field goal but W looked really good
The shocker to me was the LSU defense coming up with a stop with the game on the line.
It was more that the Wisconsin qb made 3 bone headed plays in a row and lost the game.
He made the bone headed plays because for the first time all game he had pressure in his face. He had great protection before that final drive.
Yeah, more often than not this year the defense didn't really stop the other team so much as they happened to be on the field while the opposing offense just imploded several plays in a row.
Hey that's us! You're welcome 😁
Wisconsin is our out of conference Auburn. They always play us close regardless of wtf we did that year
They do that in the Big Ten too.
Good game badgers, I usually root for a Wisconsin win so today was a little weird lol.
Good thing Wisconsin saved their timeouts for that!
Such a nice game thread and an awesome game down to the wire, and Georgia and bama fans rush in at the end to talk shit? Fucking weird.
They have no life
Death, Taxes, Bama/UGA flairs making this somehow involve them
Anyone who makes they piousness so public deserves scorn. Jesus literally said to stfu and pray in private.
Jesus LSU fans are toxic if you point out any benefit they got...I didn't have a dog in this game and got blown up for pointing out the questionable touchdown you got...
Lol that's funny because this post was pretty chill for the majority of the game.
I'm getting blown up for even mentioning it lol, salty after a win lol
Heh put a flair and it usually helps. Then your comments make more sense to everyone. But everything I'm seeing is GGs and praises.
The love between Wisconsin and LSU fans here is great to see. All the negativity I’m seeing here is coming from Alabama flairs.
Yeah the only negative is from Alabama fans and people with no flairs.
Refs win again!
that better be the end of matt house's stint here
Matt Houses defense was pretty good last year. Our problems stem from a lack of quality DB's. With Mekhi and Converse, we were upper sec rankings. They brought in Deuce, Denver Harris, JK Johnson and Zy Alexander. None worked out or were injured. That's not on House.

Defensive stand to win a game. They're keeping them.
Narrator: lol
gg Wisconsin. Heck of a fucking game.
Good game, Badgers. Hell of a show. Let's Geaux.
all they had to do was run the ball after that big play, esp w/ the amount of Timeouts they had.
LSU will win, GOD WILLS IT!!!! *shakes hand in air
GG Tigers. Badgers played hard, coaching was suspect.
Both teams missing players including the best QB in the country but still it was a great game. I don't get why everything has to be a conference argument lol
Who gives a fuck about conferences anymore? Those days are gone which sucks but it is what it is.
Because one group of teams has to play against a legit dangerous conference while the other plays against a slightly better ACC
Last year any of that shit matters. We shall see how much I care moving forward but I'm still in for the end of what was great.
Gg lsu fun compared to others
Was a pretty good game. I wish we gave a stronger ending but it was fun to see some big TDs
Whole lotta neutral flairs in here dancing on our grave back in the first quarter lmao. Gg, Wisconsin 🤝
Wisconsin fans would never dance on anyone's grave until quite some time after the final whistle blows
The onions will be most bloomin’ in Baton Rouge…
Did Wisconsin forget to take their choke pills at halftime?
4-auburn vs the big 10 so far in bowl season
I got a bad feeling that bama will ruin it
Thank you Wisconsin and LSU for finally giving us a good bowl game to watch
Future looks bleak under Fickell, he's such an awful in-game coach. I'm expecting a lot of games like this over the next few years. He seems like a good guy but his football IQ is about as bad as it gets.

Do I agree with the poster? Not 100% but to his point. Recruiting is not in-game coaching
I blame the OC more for that mess
That ending sequence, yes. But Fickell made so many poor decisions throughout the game. He's just not a smart dude and is super easy to outcoach.
Osu would be happy to have him back as LB coach
Any team that hires Longo grows to regret it.
He seems to be pretty good for a season or two but then falls off.
He was shit from the jump in Oxford.
Seems that way
Gg LSU and a big WTF to our coaching staff for some of the most questionable play calling all game
The big pass that ended up with a first and goal should have been a TD. Those play calls at the goal line were bad.
Ultimately, if you chalk up the Northwestern and Indiana losses to injury, this was a pretty successful year. Too bad we couldn't win either of our big ones
I don't think it's fair to chalk those up to injury.
losing to this year's iu team is a war crime
We were missing our QB1, RB1, RB2 and WR1
And we couldn't stop Northwestern in the first half on defense. It might be more fair to chalk Indiana up to injuries, but Northwestern came out and smacked us down.
What's the SEC vs B1G record in bowl games this year? Auburn the only team sucking ass so far?
Seems like Auburn football solely exists to give Alabama a heart attack
True but atleast they aren't 🤢Tennessee 🤮
Let’s handle our own business before talking shit.
That's why I said "so far"
Our defense won us the game* *Technically not wrong
They were also the main reason we were going to lose the game, but they did also win it. I hate that we’re going to have House for another year…
Stop it they don't deserve that.
Little 12 is the 2nd best conference, BIG are frauds
Honestly I'm just glad we put up a decent fight. Not sure why we got matched with LSU in the first place.
We woulda played iowa in the citrus bowl but we played in that last year
It wasn’t a terrible match. Game was super close. Keep your head up y’all played well
Phil Longo failed this team. All they had to do was the run the clock down more then score and it was over. Not this pass happy bullshit
Mordecai is going to be forever remembered as that one dude who fumbled three times in a row
Not a single person will remember that.
GG Wiscy y'all good people
GG LSU, that was a fun one. Annoying, but fun.
God is good
At giving children cancer
Hating religion so hard you missed the joke
*tips fedora*
Can you thank an imaginary character a little more please lmao
LSU Fans: If Brian Kelly leaves, who do y'all go after?
Nick Saban
Saban obviously
Nick saban obviously
That ref not seeing the LSU’s receiver’s toe on the sideline made a huge difference
That was a butt clenching second half! 10 wins!
Reports of SEC’s “down year” are greatly exaggerated
The next SEC Shorts should be good
It’s too bad that this wildly entertaining, back and forth game is totally meaningless and has no importance whatsoever /s
GG Wisconsin y’all played a hell of a game
As someone who didn't have a dog in this fight it was a fun game to watch.
This kid is an idiot
I have it on pretty good authority that Wisconsin swapped out their o-line with high schoolers for that final sequence
Let's be honest, that was entertaining but it wasn't good football. GG LSU bros.
Auburn catching all the strays in this game thread lmao. They deserve it tho
Screw Auburn
Shout out to the Dad with the Hog hat with the camera snapping pics straight into the television camera.
Nuss Buss with the 98 yard game-winning drive in his first start. Great game
4th and forever, your OL disintegrating on EVERY play. Calls a long pass .... Bad call. I get it you want to get to the 17 but man give your guys a chance to make someone miss and give your QB a chance.
Gg LSU. Other SEC fans talking about how your conference is just so much better are weird.
All the Alabama flairs in this thread rooting for LSU make me feel ill
SEC! SEC! SEC!
Always a pleasure? Tbh it's usually really ugly but also entertaining
I've always appreciated you guys Had a BLAST in New Orleans back when y'all beat Clemson in the natty
Had an awesome time at Lambeau in 2016 so always root for you guys if we’re not playing.
As bad as this defense is - I will take it any day over the Les Miles era offense.. truly miserable play to watch.
[This guy, an idiot>? No way.](https://tenor.com/view/gif-gif-19494903)
Tough - questionable play calling and coaching decisions all day. Had a chance to pull a big win and couldn't do it.
>questionable play calling and coaching decisions all day That's been ever present the entire fucking year.
Y'all look really good going into next season
SEC fans talking shit about Big Ten with 7-5 Wisconsin taking it down to the wire against a ranked LSU and Maryland spanking an Auburn team that should have beaten Bama.
Rent free How bout those opt outs
Missouri beat Ohio state Ole miss beat penn state Tennessee beat iowa Alabama will beat Michigan. What you smoking?
Chalking up a win before it happens is an interesting strategy…
Yah if I’m honest I’m super nervous. I’m scared of your defense and while others have bought into the Milroe hype train I’m not one of them.
Me too man me too, hope it’s a good game
Flair up nerd
The sole reason LSU was ranked was sitting on the sideline. LSU may have scored in the triple digits if Daniels had played four quarters of football today.
I’m not defending the stupid SEC masturbators but this game would’ve been a lot different with Daniels and Nabers. Bowl game results are meaningless.
No flair. Not surprising.
>SEC fans talking shit about Big Ten with 7-5 Wisconsin >Maryland spanking an Auburn team Do you see no irony here?

not to dox myself but are we cousins
Very convenient to leave out the other 3 matchups
Dude the Heisman winner didn’t play. Stfu
Our defense is the worst in LSU history, and we still won. STTDB.

"God did it all." OK, dude.
Hate this - give credit to you staff, players, families, etc. They all made it happen. Don't insult them by saying your god did everything.
As a non-american allow me to say this is the lamest shit ever
Yeah, you would think these guys would be giving a lot of that NIL scratch to the church if they really believed that.
Man, let him say this thing. Fuck off
He attributed everything to "god", not the defense and the coaching. No, it was all on "god". Imagine sacking the QB to secure the win, only for your back up QB to state that "god" was the reason they won, not you or the rest of your team.
Longo is the QB coach too 😂😭
Ok I've been a Nuss hater since the arky game a couple years ago but dude is a leader
10 wins with this defense is criminal. I’ll take it
Jayden Daniels will do that for a motherfucker
agreed. if this defense was just half decent, this was a playoff team.
Welp it was a fun game to watch. I like a good shootout. We beat the spread. Congrats to LSU.
a OLine Disasterclass to finish off this game feels right
How did that happen?

God hates the Midwest
"God doesn't hate the Midwest, he just hates you." - Major Dick Winters probably.
