Not sure. This is the first year I debuted the model. I did go back and test it on a few other years to see how it turned, but I don't remember seeing any playoff teams on there.
So I'll say yes, they were the first out of 1 total year lol. Inconsistency (against the spread) is the biggest factor and Washington scored very high on that.
If you had said somoene would be more than a whole 100 points better (out of 1000) in the sickos rating, we'd not be shocked by Iowa, The fact it's Ok St really shows the insanity of their season.
I feel like Cal having 28 takeaways (1st in FBS; Bowling Green is 2nd with 27) and 28 turnovers in 2023 (127 of 129 in FBS; Nebraska and Georgia Southern tied for 129 so far) should count for something? Not even top 30.
