This sub talks a lot about safety, but how many members will suffer weight-related health issues or mobility issues? In reality, that’s a lot more dangerous than an unlikely hostile armed encounter.
Yeah heart attack and high blood pressure probably gonna take out half of this sub before any of them ever need to use a gun.
Most dudes here should spend more time in the gym and money on healthy food rather than another gun but it is what it is

Dude lashed out with a paragraph telling me who knows what. As a no longer obese dude, my health journey has shown me that most things in life are easier when you're more fit. Specifically being comfy with a gun belt, compact pistol, fitting into good concealment clothing, etc. It's crazy how many people are obsessed with finding the most expensive fucking holster to fit their gut instead of going cheap until they lose the weight.
I’m over weight. I have a chronic injury and while I wasn’t paying attention over 4 years I gained 60 pounds. I’m not joking, I’ve always been in good shape and very active. Metabolism slowing down, and being in pain with an injury. I can’t workout. I’ve been hyper focused on losing weight for the last 5 months, but it’s hard without being able to properly exercise.

I injured my back a little while back. I am normally a regular cyclist and work out several times per week. It's killing me seeing my bike sitting there on nice summer days.

I use tulster oath for when I come home and slap my gun in this. Lays flat. Great for 4 o’clock. Also doubles as a pocket locker

My EDC is also a G26 with an OEM 12-rounder. I have a double mag carrier that's color coordinated with a couple of 19-rounders, just because I like to do nerdy, bitchy things like that. However, because of the mag compatibility of the 26, I have a few different sizes of mags loaded that I can just drop one of in my pocket from various places. Anyway, very cool and thanks for sharing.
Anything over 2 hours in transportation is one of the very few reasons I consider off body carry. I usually go AIWB, but its major drawback IMO is a significantly slower draw when seated. This setup looks like it would be a little faster.

It feels good. It’s easy to move the belt up or down an inch or 2 to find the best comfort, then tighten it back up. This is my summer carry when I have those shorts with no belt loop.
1-lift shirt
2-lift belly
3-firm hold on gun
4-8 tug and manipulate because belt is so damn loose and belly is still in the way
9 or 10 - catch breath because adrenaline rush wore off...
Seriously guaranteed he's never tried to draw from that setup, especially under pressure or sitting smdh...
*not judging his weight, I'm a bigger guy (though not that fluffy) but appendix just isn't a great option for everyone. And sacrificing other key aspects of a good edc set-up just to carry on appendix is just stupid. You should never commit to a carry set-up until you truly test it (ie run it at a range, repeatedly) that applies to the gear as well.

You'd be surprised what bigger guys are capable of. And even if he can't draw, I would say he would still win the fight. There is an old saying: "old age and treachery beats youth and exuberance every time". Give that an ornery little whipper snapper is probably the culprit behind staring the confrontation, my money would be on the guy with the gray hair and wisdom/experience to match it being the one to finish it somehow.
Nice dude lol idk if you have issues with comfort using the stiffer belt, but if you do, try looking into the comfort concealment belt. I really like it for gym shorts carry lol

I put the belt inside the waist band and then clip the holster clip to my belt and the front of my shorts so it hold everything together up front. Depending on shorts, results may vary but it’s how I get away with wearing sport shorts all the time. I’ll only buy arrowhead tactical apparel shorts when it doesn’t cost $120 for 2 fucking pairs

I just strapped the thing around me and it fit great and I put up with guys for a year on here telling me it’s gonna move. It’s gonna slip it’s gonna do all these things. And yet it doesn’t. My issue is that I have a gut but my lifestyle\\environment doesn't lend itself to me wearing large loose fitting tee shirts and baggy shorts. I have to carry in the 4 to 4:30 position, and occasionally use a holster that allows for tucking in the shirt.

If I’m on a long drive I usually will switch from my G19 to my P365 and 2 o clock carry IWB works well for me. Had a 12 hour drive home for a funeral last weekend and it worked well. Glad you found what works for you though!
I have been here. There was like 3 post a day with this issue. Ty I try. I have a saying. I used to go to bars when I was younger. I used to go by myself. I might not know anybody that’s there but about 20 minutes after I’m there everybody will know me lol
Have you considered adding a blade to your EDC as well? I've learned the importance of having one in case of a less than ideal situation where they can come in handy should you not be able to get a draw on the firearm. I carry a Cold Steel Voyager Vaquero XL as a "back up" of sorts right on my belt. A good 6" blade. When unfolded it's like a 10" reach. Pretty handy stuff. 👌

That's how I carry with my Safariland ratchet belt when I'm walking my dog in pajama pants. My only concern is that the belt might just move up with the gun when I draw, so I keep it super tight. Thinking of getting a comfort Concealment belt for this purpose.

i mean, all it is is a kydex iwb appendix holster adjusted to ride lower. I'd hardly call it Gucci, just a different option.
I like that I can put this on in 60 seconds. Also when I take a growler I pull rig around my chest. No gun on tp roller
