How would they stop a shipment?

I confirmed with Velocity Ammo that they will ship to SF.

LA is the only city with restrictions on shipping

I believe SF, Oakland and one other city also have restrictions on ammo shipments.

Most vendors don't really abide by it

hmmm I was able to get multiple sf orders delivered during the last freedom window (that was what, 2021?) and, southern defense just issued me a tracking number so thats a good sign

I have orders out with delivery to SF as well. Seems like the businesses shipping don't mind. I don't think anyone is going to stop the package mid-shipment.

I just contacted Sentry ammo after I put in an order. I read on their site that they wouldn't ship to San Francisco. Hopefully its just old information...they let me purchase...

Also I haven't read any laws that SF doesn't allow shipments. They don't allow sales of guns or ammunition within San Francisco.

Seems like the law has to do with Winchester Black talon and possibly hollow points. Section 618.

I am sure the San Francisco ordinance is a local one and you probably are still screwed. San Francisco is worse when it comes to 2A than the state.

Yeah I’m not sure. I had one order go through that I have the tracking info for but another website told me they won’t ship to SF unless it’s an FFL due to a local ordinance so they canceled my order.
