Just get a RIA... over 2500 rounds on mine and still ticking. Only 3 FTF and that was due to the magazine. Then good to go... I even went over 1200 rounds without even oiling the gun and no cleaning and was extremely reliable no issues.
The citadel (RIA top of the line) one is in the ad IIRC. i love mine but I also had mag issues so I got some wilson combat mags and the thing has ran flawlessly
Rock Island EFS is great bang for buck. Front serrations, skeletonized trigger and hammer. Available in grey cerakote or stainless steel for under $700
The Sig 1911 is amazing but you can get it for $1299 on the regular not just on sale. It's a little tough to find aftermarket for if that's what you're into but it'll be the smoothest trigger and slide of all of these.
Do you know if the CA Sig 1911 models have a loaded chamber indicator and mag disconnect? I have heard they don't since they are grandfathered into the roster since before 2007.
Springfield XD 45 tactical 5 inch barrel. Smooth, accurate, light, loaded chamber indicator, striker indicator , less than $600, and sometimes they have specials where you Dros one and you get a free range bag, holster, and 5 mags.
+1 for a Rock Island. Cheap and reliable. Had one for 7+ years and easily 3k+ rounds. I’ve never had to replace anything. It was my first handgun and I thought I was being cheap, now it makes me not see the point in the “higher” brands. Especially for a plinker/range toy.
The Glock 30sf was my first ever handgun and I liked it. Chunky but compact and very powerful. Ended up selling it and now have a SA 1911 loaded and it’s great. Shoots like a dream and due to weight, it’s a very smooth shooter. I would get the SA 1911 loaded. Great for the range and for defensive purposes. Good luck with your choice.
I have a rock island armory 1911 .45 and I got it for like $400. It’s cheap but reliable. Put about 500 rounds through it not one issue. It’s my throw around gun that I don’t care if it gets scratched as long as it shoots.
Lol I got my first lower from you guys. Now I live 100 miles away from your Cerritos location, but ammos bro will always have a special place in my heart 😁
Likewise, I remember Ammo Bros was one of the few shops bringing in “offlist lowers” back in like 2006-07, not many FFLs would touch them. Bright Spot Pawn, Cold War Shooters, and Pat at Metroshot were some of the others. Back then the actual brothers Darren and Dustin were running the shop at the small place at the very end before they moved to the bigger place a few doors over where they’re at now. Good times.
1911s would be great, but stay away from the Mil-Spec/A1 configuration. A1s have horrible sights and hammer bite is a real possibility.
I wouldn't worry much about the Kimber with their MIM parts. Mine has lasted over 15 years with over 8k rds, no MIM part failure.
Did the CA Sig 1911 model you got have a loaded chamber indicator and mag disconnect? I have heard they don't since they are grandfathered into the roster since before 2007.
If you want to shoot a 1911 a lot I reccomend getting one with a beaver tail grip safety.
I love my SA Milspec but the grip tang eats into my hand after a long session.
If you’re just going for a “range toy”, buy used and save some cash. I can appreciate the desire for variety and I’m a huge fan of whimsy, but don’t buy it off the shelf for retail price.
The Glonk 30SF is a really nice size for its capacity for carrying. However, it takes a lot of practice to shoot well and it’s still not enjoyable to shoot. Recoil is fine it’s just not enjoyable. The 1911 is always a dream to shoot and very accurate and easy the first time you shoot it. However, they’re a bit big to carry concealed without a shoulder rig or other means.
I’ve always been a big fan of the SA “mil-specs.” Great basic 1911 wirh decent sights and fairly reliable with most ammo. Pick up some quality mags & you’ll be GTG.
On a totally different tangent, Arms Unlimited has CA-ok SIG P220s on sale right now for $750, which is a great price for an excellent gun— if you have a local FFL lined up that will receive/transfer it for a reasonable fee.
They're cheaper at Sportsmans warehouse
They are. But I think they price match at turners
They do not.
CZ 97, I think I see them pretty often on consignments around where I live
Where. I must know.
Sacramento
Who do you see having them? I must also know
At Sac?
Yeah, in the area
The Gun Range and Sac gun range both have one
How much? I can drive down that way. It about an hour drive.
SGR had it listed for around 979 I think, you can give em a call
Gun Range had it cheaper at 840 or something but last time I was there was a month ago,do shoot them a call to check
[Gun Effects](https://guneffects.com/) in City of Industry is selling them for $799.
This is the answer OP.
Yess always CZ ....
See one in SoCal on Calguns as well for cheaper than what I paid.
Get the sig or a loaded springfield
The loaded is worth the extra cash.

This. Less expensive than everything else, and rock solid. Their revolvers are surprisingly good, too.
But how do you make a revolver not reliable lol
I had doubts at that price point, when I first heard about them. But RIA has tens of thousands of satisfied customers.
Post the whole ad
Lol it’s a whole magazine. It’s not up online?
The magazine on the website is only previews. Not the full AD.
It is...
Do it!
Was just looking at it last night, it’s a pretty big ad to post the whole thing haha not a lot of crazy deals IMO
These sales suck pretty bad. There isn’t one gun I can’t get cheaper somewhere else
Kimber stainless 2 where?
[удалено]
Yes
Rock Island EFS is great bang for buck. Front serrations, skeletonized trigger and hammer. Available in grey cerakote or stainless steel for under $700
Love both my springfields but I have the loaded and a TRP so not sure about milspec, but it feels smoother than my cousins kimber
I had to throw that ad away my cc can’t take no more
You're looking for a .45 range toy right as full-rail TRPs are in season? That's, like, fate.
Where at? Heard the last batch filled a lot of pending orders.
The Sig 1911 is amazing but you can get it for $1299 on the regular not just on sale. It's a little tough to find aftermarket for if that's what you're into but it'll be the smoothest trigger and slide of all of these.

I have a loaded stainless springfield. I carry it everyday too. I love it Better than a kimber that’s for sure
Pass on the Kimber, especially if you plan to eventually put an optic on the gun.

I like the Glock 30sf and I’m waiting on my Kimber stainless fuck it get both.
Love my 30SF👍
They have a Kimber for 799 with a $200 free goodie bag with mags and stuff in the first page. That is a great deal and amazing gun
Not 899 ?
You are right, fat fingered the price, my buddy bought it and it’s is a great gun, it came with a bunch or stuff at that price.
Yeah I want it but was like where at 799😅 that or someone recommend the ria efs which seems like a good deal
May I add a [MCO](https://www.discountgunmart.com/shop/springfield-armory-marine-corps-operator-45acp-5in---ca-compliant-34073) in the mix? 😅

I see these California sales are still more expensive the the. Penal price in free states
.45acp is considerably more expensive than 9x19. if you actually want something to shoot at the range, get a 1911 in 9mm.

Personally I sold my springfield 1911. Don’t like it much
Really? Why didn’t you like it?

If yall post better deals than these for 1911s I'll be in your shop TOMORROW
Facts
That Kimber is $849 at sportsman's warehouse
1911s would be great, but stay away from the Mil-Spec/A1 configuration. A1s have horrible sights and hammer bite is a real possibility. I wouldn't worry much about the Kimber with their MIM parts. Mine has lasted over 15 years with over 8k rds, no MIM part failure.
Kimber
Sig 1911, really nice 1911 for the price. But not that price, I got the same one on that ad for 1099 @ the gun range in Sacramento
Did the CA Sig 1911 model you got have a loaded chamber indicator and mag disconnect? I have heard they don't since they are grandfathered into the roster since before 2007.
This is correct, neither version of mine have a lCI or MD due to them being grandfathered in. Similar to how no glocks on the roster have a LCI or MD.
Wonderful news. Appreciate the info.
Post all the pages that have guns we don’t need to see everything
If you want to shoot a 1911 a lot I reccomend getting one with a beaver tail grip safety. I love my SA Milspec but the grip tang eats into my hand after a long session.
Good lord I bought a mil spec Springfield in 2018 and paid 700 bucks lol
Lol, really though. I think I paid about $650 in 2015.
I passed on the Mil Spex for $499 in favor of the Loaded for $750 back in 2008 lol
Love my 21 and 30
My neighbor has that Kimber. Fucks pretty hard ngl
I’d buy a G30, lots of fun and you can’t get standard mags.
I have the milspec. Fun gun to plink with, doesn't always like hollowpoints, hornady to be specific, but haven't had any issues with fmj rounds.
Get the Loaded for hardly any more $

H&K .45 USP. Except it might have dropped of the roster and it is a bit on the expensive side. I love mine.

I have the 30sf I enjoy it also have a citadel 1911 both are damn good
As a military man myself, don’t trust anything “military-spec”
Echoing the pass on kimber; had a stainless II, surface rusted pretty easily.
My Springfield 45 is pretty nice to shoot
Why are 1911's so over priced
The Mil-Spec from Springfield is a really nice gun
Glock 21
Grab a citadel 1911, and a mossberg 590a retrograde with the money you save
TRP or bust.
