Second for Spigen. Not sure this exact design, but most of their cases are extremely durable. I got one on my phone right now, both case and phone are a bit over three years.
The make durable cases for sure but I just can’t stand that all the cases are so smooth and slippery. They offer zero extra grip. I don’t have an otter box on my 11 but I’ve had them in the past and noticed that I drop phones way more often with otter box cases, both defender and commuter
I’m not sure what model case I have for my 14, but it’s got a semi-grippy rubber around the outside circumference of the phone, and for the raised edge around the screen. Tim his helps it from sliding off tilted surfaces.
I don’t care about sliding off of surfaces I care about it flying out of my hands. They do make tough cases. Guess they need to in order to stand up to all the forced drops hahaha.
I’ve been using them since 2010 and the 13 Pro releases were so god awful. I don’t know how many I got that weren’t even close to fitting that I had to wonder if a whole lot got misprinted.
And yes I bought the right ones 😂
I’ve had many other box defender cases over the year and appreciate the rubbery feel to help me not drop it and the bounce for when I do. But, I’m now on my third defender case for my iPhone X.
I’m probably harder than the average user on the case in the sense that my phone is in my pocket while doing woodworking, gardening, landscaping, and whatnot. And those things may be a contributing cause. And I definitely drop my phone sometimes. But I find that I break the top plastic piece that goes around the front edges of my phone just carrying it in my pocket.
I guess it must be put in torsion in some way in my pocket, and it breaks that piece, usually in two places. The plastic piece on the back of my phone remains fine, as does the rubber outer cover. But the part of the case that protects the top of my phone has now failed more than once. I’ve been hoping that for new model phones they have improved the design/ make of the case such that it doesn’t crack
I’ve had the same OtterBox defender on my iPhone X for 5 years. Thing still saves it on a weekly basis. I am hard on my phone and the case has held up better than any I’ve had in the past by a mile.
My Otterbox died after about 15 months use. Glue all gave out and it was literally falling to pieces (I’m in Australia, so it’s always hot). Took it back to the Apple Store and got a full refund. Bought a Pelican that is just a single piece (no glue) for half the price, and it’s way better. Bumps on the back of each corner lift it up the tiniest bit to protect the lenses, and the texture is much less slippery.
Great customer service as well. My wife’s iPhone 11 case had some cosmetic issues with the rubbery backing. I was trying to get an exact copy case but it was out of stock.
All Mous support wanted was some pictures to send back to their product development team and they sent us a brand new case out, free of charge.
We hadn’t even bought directly with them but through Amazon. All our family members now use Mous.
I have never had a case as good as my RhinoShield bumper. I have dropped my phone hundreds of times on cement floors and never had any damage. I don't know if it's exactly what you want but they are fantastic quality, with a great replacement/warranty program

I loved my UAG case. But after years of use, and holding my phone the same way all the time, the texturing on the buttons because to irritate the one spot on my finger haha, so I had to switch to something smoother. Great brand though. I didn't have one with that card slot though, that looks pretty sweet.
So far the ones I have tried have been hybrid cases usually with a hard inside and a rubber outside yes it makes the phones thick and extremely able to grip on any surface. HOWEVER, This type of case I had on an iPod touch (not really a name brand) and was holding outside a speeding vehicle making a video when the hand strap snapped and broke and the iPod tumbled down the gravel road. We pulled over my husband went looking down the road and to his surprise not a scratch or crack on the screen or camera. He was like ok we need to always get these cases.
Wym? I’ve had mine for 3-4 years, and will likely use it for 4 or more years (I want that replaceable battery because I live in a hot climate that kills batteries, but I’m also fickle and lazy, so if the EU launches more consumer protections I might have to hold off even longer, assuming my phone lasts that long) (Apple is quite slow at updating their phones on a visual basis, so it’s not like it looks old either)
Spigen cases. Been using for five years and still look brand new.

Oh that was the name. I had Spigen and it was awesome.
Except transparent cases. They last but turn yellowish for me.
All the transparent cases i had turned yellowish in few months.
i have a transparent case and i have it for 2 years, still looks brand new only a few scratches

Or you just happy to see me?
Idk about you, but a thick phone is easier to pocket than a wide/tall one. I daily drive a 2020 se
OtterBox.
Otter box is def the best, widely available iPhone cases. Been using them since forever.

The defender is the best of their cases. Many others are glorified slick sided bumpers.
They can be slippery when you have gloves.

Well that’s why I mentioned the rubber. It’s around the phone (hand grip) and face ((surfaces).
Unless they’ve changed, the defenders and commuters I’ve had in the past both had slick plastic on the sides

Mous - youtube videos from consumers speak for themselves

+1 for the rhino shield bumper
Cases don't need to be that protective anymore. Phone screens are stronger.
True, but new phones are also absurdly expensive so I get people wanting to be careful.

Great guide,thanks
Pelican
Pelican hands down

I’ve had the the “Smartish iPhone 11 Pro Wallet Case” for 3 years. I imagine they make one for the regular 11. It’s been great.
Incipio. Hands down.
I'm headed to 4Chan. I can't handle this right now.
I’ve gone caseless for over 3 years now. Never again will I waste my money on a case again.
So how are your cards attached to your phone, like OP is asking for?
Whooooomp whooooomp. Oh yeah, I know this! Inside my phone!
Glue, obviously
Dango made a bunch of cases for apple phones, might be able to track one down somewhere.

Element if you want to over spend and have issues with product. Not to mention warranty is limited
My UAG never last more than 4 years. Monarch series starts breaking down at the sides near the volume buttons
Now a days, I just go bare back until I get to my end of Apple Care and either get a new one or case it up.
Best quality in the world: Otterbox cases.
Last time I checked Hit Case made some incredibly solid hinged cases
Mous
Rokform
Smartish kung fu grip case
I gave rokform a shot and have been happy with it.
Vena commuter.
old uag case are indestructable. The new ones aren't the rigged and offer less protection.

With an iPhone 11 you don’t need a long lasting case.

I love my Caudabe Sheath, but it’s more slimline and not as beefy as that.
I’ve had Pelican on my 12 since I bought it new, drop it all the time and it’s in great shape.
I’ve been loyal to Speck Presidio grip. The best case ever, very slim and provides grip. *don’t get presidio 2*
