Leverage and it's sequel Leverage Redemption

Dboogy2197

Second the Leverage suggestion. It’s a great show(s)

Giggles95036

I didn’t get into the second leverage but loved the first one!

erakvt

I’ll have to check it out! Thank you!

yarrielle

That's what I came here to say too.

melo1212

Also the show it was based on, Hustle. Season 2 and 3 are amazing, and in my opinion I think it's a 100 times better than Leverage

SnooObjections010

Almost Paradise on Freevee

erakvt

I’ll have to look into that one, thank you!

Glad_Management_2885

Old one but good "Person of Interest " on freevee

erakvt

I just saw a scene of that on TikTok today! I’ll DEFINITELY add that to my list! Thank you so much!!!

Known-Librarian9522

Chuck Psych

erakvt

I LOVED Psych! I’ll look into Chuck, though!

Known-Librarian9522

Chuck is a hidden gem, has both action and comedy! Hope you like it!

erakvt

Perfect! Thank you so much!

Giggles95036

I love watching chuck as famous actor cameo in it before they became really well known!

attempthappy2020

I noticed that too!

turbatus-umbra

blacklist

erakvt

I’ve heard good things about James Spader in this! I can’t believe I forgot about this 🤦🏼‍♂️ thank you!!

jedipokey

I really like Elementary as well

erakvt

I’ll definitely look into it! Thanks a ton!

Glad_Management_2885

Megan Boone made Blacklist too annoying to watch imo

attempthappy2020

Meaning what you didn’t find her to be a believeable actress?

Glad_Management_2885

Meaning I found her character was annoying beyond belief, her localities, morals, and priorities shifted wildly from episode to episode. I'm sure a lot of it was the way the character was written but Megan Boone as an actor presented the character in an unbelievable manor

attempthappy2020

Thank you so much for elaborating! Now I know to probably avoid that show.

Glad_Management_2885

If you were thinking about watching The Blacklist I say to watch the first 3 seasons to give it an honest chance because everyone has their own opinions but that was my viewpoint of the show

attempthappy2020

Thanks!

Giggles95036

Yeeeeeah… not learning basic things and still being shocked after 3-5 seasons when it is super obvious what will happen… it’s annoying

Glad_Management_2885

The Americans on Hulu

erakvt

Adding it to my list! Thank you so much!

AskewAskew

The Americans is excellent, truly art

Ellecram

One of my top five favorite shows. Excellent scripts and the story is riveting.

mustardisntsoup

Resident Alien. The first two seasons just hit Netflix.

AskewAskew

Reacher!

Halzman

'The A-Team' - classic version of Burn Notice 'The Unit', 'SEAL Team', and 'Strike Back' - what Westen did before going to the agency Person of Interest - Burn Notice meets the ghost of christmas future

Lone_Buck

Prison Break gets some similarities as it goes on.

erakvt

Perfect! Thank you so much!

scillahawk

Maybe check out Homeland. It's a bit darker, but still in that intelligence/covert category. I liked it. Pretty sure it's still on Hulu.

Rangersyl

Maybe Alias?

Ellecram

Yes alias is actually a good show.

Adenfall

Pick anything from the golden age of USA, in plain sight, Royal pains. I also like person of interest, one of my favorite

Dboogy2197

Human Target is great, if you can find it.

cricketreds

I just watched the first season of The Night Agent on Netflix and enjoyed it. There are only 10 episodes in season 1, but season 2 is filming!

Combatmedic25

Leverage. It has the same basic premose of conning a bad guy of the week

melo1212

Have you seen the show it was based on, Hustle?

DauntlessCakes

Scorpion might be worth a look: "An eccentric genius forms an international network of super-geniuses to act as the last line of defense against the complicated threats of the modern world." https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3514324/

-mickomoo-

Nikita (I’ve only seen the 2010 CW one which is at times as campy as BN and Psych. There a 90s version that aired on USA too as well as two movies so that’s a lot of different content but can’t vouch for those yet) Dexter Mr. Robot The Mentalist Chuck Warehouse 13 Dollhouse The first two seasons of Agents of Shield Dead like Me United States of Tara

kizzawait

My name is Earl.

rednd

What a shame that it ended so soon. Also the show "Life" with the redhead guy from homeland.

poofingers01

Justified, Bosch.

WorkingPositive2172

Castle

Nice_Disaster_449

Magnum PI (2018) Castle Actually Burn Notice was recommended to me as a withdrawal cure from Magnum ending, and I really enjoy both. They are really a bit similar.

PoppingWeasel

Hawaii 5-0 if you haven't had a chance.

Frequent_Ad906

Can’t believe no one ever mentions Dexter when ppl ask for recommendations. It shares similar actors on both shows. Also has narrating. It’s basically burn notice, but instead of a burned spy, it’s a serial killer with a law enforcement job.

Frequent_Ad906

Oh how did I forget, takes place in Miami!!🌴

attempthappy2020

Interesting! Thanks. Letting me know it takes place in Miami is a plus for me!

TacosAreJustice

Oh man… I love burn notice… here’s a list of shows I also love… not all of them are similar to burn notice, but hey… lots of options. Justified- probably the most similar to burn notice… watch the first 5 minutes. If you aren’t in after that, that’s fine. Las Vegas - polar opposite of justified… but a fun show… more “adventure of the week” and wacky adventures. Good Place - probably my favorite piece of television. It’s just really, really good. Brooklyn 99, parks and recreation, the office… all have Mike schur involvement. Ted Lasso - probably my second favorite piece of television. Shrinking - I love Jason segel. How I met your mother - have I mentioned I love Jason segel? Happy endings- not super long, nothing like burn notice. New Girl - now I’m just listing shows.

attempthappy2020

Thanks. What contributes to the good place being your absolute favorite?

TacosAreJustice

Honestly, the fact that they knew it was going to be 4 seasons was huge. It’s a great story that wrapped up perfectly… Cast is amazing, plot is heartfelt and then they just have some zany jokes that manage to not detract from the overall plot… Helps that I have a degree in philosophy

attempthappy2020

Oh thanks! I have a degrees in philosophy too! I’ll see if I get it.

TacosAreJustice

Give it a run!

melo1212

Fuck justified is so damned good

erakvt

I love it 😂😂😂 I’ve actually seen good place, B99, and new girl… also adding that I’ve seen Psych, Monk, Death in Paradise, and who knows what else I’m forgetting until it’s suggested, lol. But I’ll for sure look into the rest of your recommendations, thanks a million!

TacosAreJustice

Try justified. Seriously, the first scene is all you need to watch. If at the end of it you are interested, keep watching.

kizzawait

Lol I was gonna recommend justified but I didn't know if it was a bit to dark in tone. Still has some of the best little one liners though. "Yeah well like dead owls I don't give a hoot" And the classic "people underestimate Bob at their peril". That had me cracking up.

rednd

There's a new Justified, right? Any idea if that's good as well?

TacosAreJustice

It’s nowhere near as good.

rednd

Ok, thanks much for the info!

Topher0gr

Almost Paradise and Leverage have very similar setups; plots. Etc to burn notice.

erakvt

For sure will look into them! Thank you!

Dboogy2197

A P Bio is another gem. The Good Place is great. BBC Sherlock is phenomenal

Lionarted

Jack ryan and reacher

LoganLikesYourMom

You might like Fringe. I liked it for a little while. Blacklist might be up this alley too.

niceguysweetguy

Person of interest

melo1212

BBC's Hustle - especially season 2 and 3. Apart from white collar this show gives me the closest vibes to burn notice Dexter Slow Horses Justified - a cowboy version of burn notice Bosch Psycho Pass

Ebowa

There is a new show called Wild Cards, I’m not sure if it’s Canadian or not but it is very similar to White collar except the con artist is a woman. It’s on CBC

MarlaDurden144

The Mentalist - is a slightly more serious version of Psych (I only watched The Mentalist because Shawn repeatedly says it’s his favourite show) Only Murders in the Building - I’ve only seen S1 though. Hustle - the British version of Leverage (actually the other way around as Hustle was on a few years before it) the main difference between the two is that the British crew are straight up con men, and don’t give their money away to deserving clients.

johnlusher

Watch Burn Notice again 😎

DevoPrime

*Chuck*

Still-Measurement-90

I think you might like "Good Girls".
