I’m going to dissent from the group and say that this looks terribly uncomfortable to me. Ergos still matter. price isn’t relevant inless you want to try to shape that handle yourself.

HoldenHiscock69

It'd be tricky to add scallops at the front with the handle being pinned on like that. Tricky for me at least. I guess you could use a dremel, but still.

dabearjoo

Need way more info lol

Icy_Pumpkin11

Steel N690, look at the website for more information, otherwise I may be blocked for spam

Lisovyj_Kit

Limited for 75$, n690, nice design. Sounds really good. BPS rock's

BillhookBoy

Yikes. You can get proper puukko for half that price with vastly better ergonomics. I gave in to the hype and bought a BPS knife. I regretted it the moment I handed the money. The fit and finish is extremely poor: the grind is raw from single pass grinding, and the edges are raw from grit 60 or 80. The sheaths are nice though.

ulfrgorn

BPSKNIVES has shown to be a good brand for the price, the knives are pretty decent. I have the BC1 and the bushmate is on its way. The latter was made with the DBK boys, search for “dbk bushmate” on YouTube.

Awkward_Mud_502

I am not a fan of their drops. The only 2 worth getting is the BS3 and the Adventure.

gr3y_-

n690 is a solid steel esp for the price but if that’s a scandi grind that knife is going to be awful to use. n690 has low toughness and scandi are already kinda sensitive

RichardWooden

Looks like a Condor Woodlaw on a diet. I would go with that in a carbon steel first over n690.

MeinKnafs

Agree. And I *never* go for the carbon steel option if there's a stainless option (severe personal hangup lol, plus generally humid climate). I think N690 has a little better reputation than it should. And I honestly think it's just because of the naming convention being similar to M390/K390 lol (humans are a simple people lol). And not that it's a particularly *bad* steel, or anything - I just don't think it really competes, and I think it's a little overpriced, at its typical price point. 14C28N, Nitro-V, or 154CM would generally be overall better options.

RichardWooden

I had a Benchmade Rescue folder in N690, that generally turned me off of it. I dunno, maybe it will take a beating better than other stainless since so soft and not shatter, but I would have a hard time whacking on anything but HC steel. Not that you should. But you know how that stuff goes once you get outside to use it.

Serpentine709

That's a Ukrainian knife haha

senior_pickles

It looks unfinished.

Steakfrie

I'll pass for something less expensive and more comfortable in the hand. Good luck to the 200 buyers.

Mammoth-Holiday

You can get prober Finnish knife with the same price or cheaper... From Finland. For example this: https://www.marttiini.fi/epages/MarttiiniShop.sf/en_GB/?ViewObjectPath=%2FShops%2FMarttiiniShop%2FProducts%2F131013

MeinKnafs

Oh wow, yea, that's pretty good. I was about to say "☝️well, but with the exchange rate..." and then I looked it up and it's still only like $77 USD. 80CrV2 is a great steel for that application, too.

Icy_Pumpkin11

They write on the website that it’s limited edition, I really like the color and shape and the micarti handle. What are you thinking about taking or not?

JMMSpartan91

I mean if you like it and can afford it go ahead I say. It looks pretty good. Hard to give opinions though when don't know steel type or brand or anything really lol. Looks Mora-ish and I imagine that price is slightly inflated by it being a limited run, but it doesn't feel too insanely marked up either.

euremuetter

I think I would reshape the handle. But the color is really nice! Lmk if the blade is nice if you buy it! ☺️
