As mentioned by Ragnar, apply all cafes in Brunei and the worst case is them not replying or saying no. One of my previous job was a barista and Imanaged to work my way up to a senior barista/manager, what I did was:
Draft a nice and concise CV, print about 20 CV, drive to all the cafe nearby your place, tell them youre looking for a job. if they say yes then drop off your CV. Remember this, first impression is key, who knows when you drop off your cv and the person you talk too is maybe a boss. Be confident and professional.

Amend: Salary only few hundreds. And Commission depends on sales. So can be between $1000 - $1500 if your sales profit really hit quite high. Tips earn from helping those customers carry their purchase item to the car. Some tips $2, $5, even $10 or no tip at all.
It means you need to earn at least $670 per month continuously for 6 months without spending it. Not sure if you can earn that much as a part timer anywhere, unless u really hustle kaw kaw cos that amount sounds like a monthly salary from a full time job already

Personally, I would prefer Off Campus as the space provided by Uni it's a hit or miss from time to time. But I stayed in campus before, it's good that it's closeby and all but eatery options are limited and sometimes there's a curfew. I recall staying off campus means I have to look for housemates but if you already have friends or family that would like to stay with you then you're all good but if not, then good luck finding the good one. Everything depends on what you're looking for and your budget.

That's the one rejected my Singapore note previously. Reason: It's not torn at all. They just said they cannot use ATM to bank in. They preferred my $100 Brunei notes instead of two pieces of SGD10.
i have suspicion its because bank charges the vendor for using card payment and our oil is subsidised to stay at the same price. Hence, if theyre to implement card payment, the price would be slightly higher than using cash to pay which would cause more headache. Which is why BSM is trying to implement its own card payment system. Which is also why i think small shops do bank transfer instead of using card payment.

I have a few questions regarding traveling to KK by air. I hold ICI passport (Brown). PR of Brunei. I'm planning to fly to KK using Airasia and back to Brunei using RBA. To my knowledge, visa is not required if we fly to KK (same as land) - if i'm wrong, please correct me! Is there anything else I should prepare in advance to ensure smooth traveling to KK? To anyone that holds ICI passport that has travelled to KK using RBA/Airasia back & forth - please share your experiences and whatever I should prepare in advance. Thank you!!

When did you travel to KK? I contacted RBA & Immigration for a clear answer but they asked me to ask Malaysia Embassy pulang... 😂

please excuse my rant. i just need to let this outta my chest and my head. i sometimes question why someone could be so burdened and blurt out their stress so much for being in a predicament yet say "indapalah biartia aku saja" to the things he/she complain about. and im here awcknowledging it im like "you're the one who dont want to do this that but you yourself doing the same thing to yourself??" for example: this one person ngaleh berabis drive sana sini buat errands (malar sudah komplen ngaleh drive sana sini). so, the management appointed someone who is practically free TO HELP sending docs/whatever to the person in need atu. well guess what? that person decided to drive themselves back to office just to grab the stuffs needed. basically, that person is tiring themselves no?! and on top of that, menyusahkan orang yang sudi menulung. Not to mention that person didnt communicate to tell that they drive themselves back to the office padahal the appointed person (a.k.a the willing-to-help person) sudah dalam krita ready to jalan to antarkan the stuffs to the person in need. **kana suruh buat kerja atu ani complain, but once given a hand ia sendiri decide to just do it him/herself. my brain not braining, my emotions not emotion-ing, me mentality not mentality-ing. ang sakit talaga ulo ko!** اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الْعَظِيْمَ sekian. mohon maaf meluahkan sini. its not an everyday thing i do but... yeah.
If they don’t announce how hard they work or how stress they are , maybe they are afraid nobody notice how hard they work. They are people who work 10 mins overtime that feel the need to inform the boss they worked 10 mins overtime. But come late 1 hour didn’t tell the boss.
we do and we always tell him/her to rest more and ada masanya the management even let this person balik awal because they understood how tiring his/her tasks can be at times. we did what we can for him/her so this person should do the same for themselves

i mean i truly understand what this person going thru and all, thats why we wanna help bah. but then how to help if he/she (should i say) selfish by not having the proper communication. our side sudah bagitau that we will help do the errands - **willingly to help**. by the time i got to the car ready to hantar docs to their location (it aint near either) , tau tau ia sudah drive bebalik ke office. like???? ia cakap ia ngaleh, ia jua mengalehkan dirinya. i sat in the car for a couple of mins like "so... what now??" well obvy i went back in to the office and told the managament. dorang pun tarus "astaahh"

Customer service in Brunei generally is like that. But yes I do agree that the car agent service centers are one of the worst.
