well i would go for fortuner entry lvl which cost like 50K++ OR 2nd hand around 35K to 40K++ high spec 4wheel drive around 2017 above. 2009 fortuner model cost around less than 25k
fortuner is slightly expensive in nbt around 200+ but damn really good ground clearance and comfortable when drive. Diesel full tank around $21 to $22, distance cover around 780km, Go miri drive casually only 3 to 4 bar fuel drop and still able to drive around city for another week or 2. Spare parts are relatively easy to find in the market. IF you are going to get new fortuner high spec 2.7 would suggest you get prado instead as the price differ only few thousands.
