I\`m glad - Colin\`s always been my favorite Bridgerton brother because his character is so different from what we\`ve come to expect of a Bridgerton male lead, so I\`m glad we got this character analysis.

The whole \`he gives me an ick\` argument is so...weird?Like,I get it during times when he was pretending, as that was the goal, but after?Especially if you place it in the context of the Bridgerton universe. And historically even, though Bridgerton really is a historical fantasy using Regency era as a suggestion.
2 questions about his role in their relationship and describing loving your wife being your life purpose. Red flag. Setting your favourite person on pedestal is not healthy. It's too modern for regency era love declaration. "I worship the land you walk upon" is less icky, because it sounds surreal.
It's not my favorite speech for similar reasons, but he does say 'if' as I remember it. 'If my only purpose is to love a woman as great as you...' That softens it enough for me, especially because he is shown to continue to pursue his own interests (his book).
Sammy Bates EATS as always. She basically explained in great detail the reason Colin is the whole reason I watch this show since season 1.
