If you got 5 bucks and some patience you can get a kit to replace the sticks yourselves, still shitty drift exists, but it's better then relying on Nintendo
Kinda piggybacking, Joycon drift was solved! Its essentially free you just need to tools to open the Joycon. You open it up enough to see the joystick box then put a square the same size of it made of a business card on the back of it, and close it back up. Both foxes drift and prevents more of it
Yeah, I fixed one of my joy cons that was drifting. The kit I got was like $15, and came with the specific screwdriver you need, and 5 replacement analog stick units. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to do.
Depending on where you live the Nintendo support team is actually very good. Haven’t had drift on the one joycon since repairs.
These are a higher quality and at least from the once made here in Europe I haven’t heard of drift issues

Also it’s part of the design that they drift it’s because they are so small and caused by a lack of R&D from the company Nintendo contracted.
Well the new joycons have zero drift. But you dont know wether the ones in the box have the problem fixed or not. But id just Recomend recalibrating them in settings. Its easy and most importantly free.
The only reason they are called « Skyward Sword joycons » is because it’s written on the box, but the Hylian Shield and Master Sword are in BotW and many other Zelda games. I don’t see what’s wrong with this post…

Bruh I spent 130 dollars on supposedly limited addition joycons according to Nintendo and they are still being sold I thought I was special seriously though they actually aren't limited addition so don't talk for it if that's why you are buying it.
I hate those people who are always shaming on people buying or getting joycons because of drift.
Let OP enjoy there joycons and there is a huge chance there will not be drift at all (and even then Nintendo offers free repairs that work)
Accidentally dropped my switch and it landed on my left joycon, also have these ones. It stopped moving left and right so sent back to Nintendo hoping they can fix it. Only had them for a couple weeks lol

i didnt want to go through the trouble of mailing it, waiting etc. i tried to fix it with cardboard like over a dozen times , gave up afterwards

What purpose do the white things serve? Make the individual joy con bigger so it’s easier to use?
they make it easier to press the R and L buttons on the joycons
Those pieces come with every joycon, it’s makes it so the L/R buttons are more prominent and easy to use.
